if u have a 920 or 925,
this device is a slight upgrade compare to them.. 2 extra cores and 2 extra megapixels.. with the nearly the same price ( compared to L925 back then) |

The device is lighter and thinner compared to the 820 which I had for over a year. Battery can last through more than 15 hours, enough for moderate use during a day. It has a motion sensor which eliminates the need for fitbit and the likes if you are a fitness person.
The screen is very nice. It is a 720p and can fit 3 medium tiles or 1 big tiles and 1 medium tiles. It is using an IPS technology. I am not a camera person but the PureView camera takes decent pictures. I use the camera mainly to take pictures of newspaper cutting and it does the job well (I have an app can handyscan). The inclusion of a camera key is nice which you rarely find in many smartphones nowadays. QUOTE(noorimanyosh @ Oct 12 2014, 01:07 PM) |

QUOTE(noorimanyosh @ Oct 12 2014, 01:07 PM) the phone does feel elegant when u hold it...comparing it with my xperiaZ... my vote goes to 830.. camera performs much better in darker area even w/out flash (vs xperia Z)... not sure bout latest Z3 though... but for me, im really satisfied with what 830 has to offer.. good camera quality OS is fluid phone doesnt get hot fast like android (not sure if this is due to WP or hardware) screen is sharp altho not fullHD.. it just feels like a flagship device, minus the big hole in my wallet.... if u decide to get this phone, just check the edges of the screen.. some unit might not have the perfect fit (flushed with the metal frame) all round.. if u can find 100% perfect, consider urself lucky... cos last friday, i examine 3 unit, all not perfect alas, i chose the one with minimum flaw.... |

i finally figured out how the navi buttons light works...
it will only lit up in dark surroundings.... if under direct light - it will not lit up...unless the proximity sensor is covered to mimic dark room.... makes sense now...can help extend battery life.... |

(or maybe i was just being too picky) but overall quality is very close to perfect.. in my case, out of 3, only 1 phone had an obvious flaw.. the other 2, was acceptable, altho I cant say its 100% perfect.. different people have diff expectation.. some may say the imperfection is acceptable, some may not... u need to check it out urself... |

Heard you could do manual focus during video record. Can someone confirm this? It is a nice feature for film-making!
