Don't see why people would go for this instead of the like of Lumia 1520 or Lumia 930

Trying the demo unit, it actually feels like a proper flagship. Good camera, great screen, and snappy performance. Can't even see any difference with the 930 demo unit. Only encountered the resuming page once, when getting back into the camera app through the multitasking page.

Totally agree with you. Tested it as well a few times at the Nokia Store, love it. I like the fact that it's thinner than the 930, but still feels comfortable to hold. The screen also is just awesome

Very tempted to change my 820 for this as well

Trade offs:-
Lower resolution 294 vs 332 ppi
Smaller internal storage 16GB vs 32GB

For camera some give and take between front and back cameras for both models, I'm ok with that.

I like the 830, but at RM1,399 it's still a bundle to me.

Looks like this phone is not selling like hot cakes, with only one owner reported here? I don't see much interest at the shops either.

But I'm curious, I wonder why sum time my navigation button doesn't light up when I touch it.. N Sum time it works ..

i dont think 830 is a flagship phone la bro... more like a mid range phone only ...
the fitting is not 100% perfect like those 2-3k flagship phones...
so expect some very small flaws.. (or maybe i was just being too picky)

but overall quality is very close to perfect..
in my case, out of 3, only 1 phone had an obvious flaw..
the other 2, was acceptable, altho I cant say its 100% perfect..
different people have diff expectation.. some may say the imperfection is acceptable, some may not...

u need to check it out urself...
