If you want to trade Gold but dont really care about actual holding the gold physically, you can buy Gold ETFs.

IDF ground operatuons already started. I expect Gold to maintain above USD2k on Monday.

Etf is a fund listed on a stock exchange like Bursa, SGX, NYSE. A gold etf will be 99+% invested in actual gold.

U buy and sell using a broker whixh can access the exchange, nowadays usually via trading app.

I prefer gold etf than any other form of gold inveatment due to small spread, easy buy n sell and security.

Cons..long term there is management fee that can cause some underperformance to actual physical gold.

That 0.4% expenae ratio is annual and if you hold over many years will accumulate. If you buy a gold bar and keep it at home, no expense.

But the much better spread can make up.for the costs. The sell and buy spread is much lower than you quoted.

Its fully physical backed and you can convert units to physical.gold bars if u have equavalent of 2kgs.

Gold is stored at a vault near Changi airport. Custodian is Standard Chartered bank. You can arrange with the asset manager to collect there or maybe from their office in Jalan Raja Chulan (not sure the transport fees).
