i invested in year 2002. Moved ALL my FD monies into gold. Those days, no ETFs, gold accounts, etc. Only gold bullions. There were loads of bullions around then. Even the 10 oz Roo was available!  Nowadays you don't see this anymore.
It was USD320 p oz then.  Kijangs were approx RM1050 p oz.
That was 21 years ago.
Now gold is $2050 and RM10,000. In RM terms, it has performed approx 11.5% CAGR over 21 years!

Normally how much the buyer would deduct (percentage - their commission $$$).... Around 32g +/- per Coin

Gold bars/coins with original assay certs or those fr reputable refiners mcm PAMP, RCM, Perth Mint, Valcambi, I think they can accept.

can this certs be forged, and how does the bank authenticate ?

if yes, it should be rm100,000 per oz in 2044.

if u have 50 oz, that wud hv cost u rm50k in 2002, now worth rm500k, will be worth rm5mil in 2044.

really, keeping gold does not make u rich but preserves yr wealth v well.

whether chicken rice, car or house, the price is almost the same in mg, g or kg of gold over long periods of time like 20, 40 yrs.

Ever since the conflict in middle east started... Gold keep breaking new record....

US policy also didn't help... So more push towards gold....
