QUOTE(smartinvestor01 @ Sep 19 2014, 04:38 PM) Ya lor, feel very long to know the answer.. I wonder why the delay.. Need to "clean-up" the investment portfolio / books? I still hoped for 6.7-6.8% although i know the chances for the dividend to strike at 6.6% is high.. ^^ I hoping for higher rate like 7% but realistically should be around 6.6% only |

QUOTE(plumberly @ Sep 21 2014, 10:55 AM) [attachmentid=4141649] Yup, normally ASx fund out-perform EPF, but the "gap" is closing quite fast AS1M (blue line) has performed better than EPF for the past 4 years. My view is, all the ASX will do better than EPF. Why? My guess is the fund size of EPF is just too big. Expecting 6.60% for AS1M next week. Will treat my family to a good dinner for anything higher than 6.60%. Cheerio. |

Total would be 200k+dividend. the another year also same total balance+dividend. it's continue year after year. What will happen to the dividen if I didn't withdraw it? Will it be calculated for the following year dividen? 200k limit is for "fresh fund" @ u bring own money+loans. if add dividend, there's no limit |

QUOTE(plumberly @ Sep 22 2014, 05:19 PM) At CIMB, in 3 transactions. I have not been to this CIMB for many months now due to past poor response. Happened to go to HL bank and decided to drop in at CIMB which is nearby. I've heard stories about the bank staff "cold-shoulders" towards those trying luck for Amanah Saham Scheme |

QUOTE(plumberly @ Sep 23 2014, 03:05 PM) Correct me if I am wrong here, in AS1M, non bumi can only buy non bumi sell off units, right? yup, only non-bumi can buy those non-bumi unitholders who sold their units. For AS1M, if chinese unitholder sold, only another chinese unitholder can buy it. Indian & others also same Thanks. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by nexona88: Sep 23 2014, 08:06 PM |

PNB declares 6.6 sen income distribution for AS1M
Permodalan Nasional Bhd (PNB) has announced an income distribution of RM664.22 million for the financial year ending Sept 30, 2014 to 376,631 unitholders of Amanah Saham 1Malaysia (AS1M). The income distribution, at 6.60 sen per unit, was 13% higher than the previous year. PNB chairman Tun Ahmad Sarji Abdul Hamid said up to Sept 22, 2014, the AS1M fund achieved a gross income of RM787.23mil, with profit from sale of shares in companies contributing a total of RM436.89mil or 55.5%. "Dividend income from investment in companies contributed RM231.45mil or 29.4% to the gross income," he told the media when announcing the income distribution for AS1M on Wednesday. He added that some RM118.89mil or 15.1% was derived from investment in short-term instruments and other incomes. Meanwhile, PNB president and group chief executive Tan Sri Hamad Kama Piah Che Othman said the group had the capacity to distribute income at 8.40 sen a unit. "However, the management has agreed to distribute the income at 6.60 sen a unit to ensure continuous returns to AS1M unitholders," he told a press conference. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « This post has been edited by nexona88: Sep 24 2014, 04:36 PM |
