i only can say mediocre mids, spiky trebles, bass is okay though

The experience i had wasn't this bad, at least i have at least burnt them in for 200 hours and replaced the ear pads.
It needs to replace the stock pads, terrible. At least the OEM DT880 pads will do. It improves the sound by a lot. For the price, cannot complain much tongue.gif

I believed bro Joshua Chew still owns his TH900.
I used to own the TH600 but sold it after 6 months as I still couldn't get used to the V-shaped sound signature.
The TH series indeed have marvelous bass and clear high, but the midrange sucks-out make some music genres like female vocals, accoustic music, sound odds for my liking.
YMMV

Hi guys,
I saw this Sennheiser Design MM70i Headphones that I really like.
http://www.lazada.com.my/sennheiser-design...04641.html?mp=1
But is OEM products considered fake? I read a lot of reviews about this product that there's a big difference between original and fake one and I want to know if this OEM product is considered to be the fake or not. The price they're selling is RM199 and the original price is RM 349 which is kinda suspicious.

Any earphones to recommend below RM300 that has a remote (must be able to play, pause, skip the next track, go to previous track, and adjust volume) for iPod touch? I was previously using Accutone Pisces (loved this earphone but I'd like to try something new) and one of Sennheiser's earphones (can't remember the model) with remote for iPod that cost over RM400.

Never trust anything described as OEM, even if it's sold by your family members. It's for your own good.

Thinking of getting a Desktop DAC (come with AMP function will be better). I only listen to few DACs, the most satisfied DAC I ever listen with HD600 is Chord Hugo, however, that one is for portable, but I dont need portable DAC, even it can be used for Desktop DAC will be quite a waste (of money as I dont need portable). So I think I can find a desktop DAC which has the same or powerful than Chord Hugo in terms of sound quality.

Headphone: HD600
Source: PCHIFI, mainly 192kHz, 96kHz Jazz, Blue, OST, Pops; SACDs will be mainly Orchestra

Criteria for DAC:
- Able to play native DSD (SACD) in USB DAC mode smile.gif
- Price RM2k~4k cry.gif
- Any Brand
- Workmanship must be good
- Support Balanced XLR (for my HD600 to upgrade to Balanced XLR cable in future)
- At least Chord Hugo DAC level rclxms.gif
- can fully or almost drive out HD600 thumbup.gif

Thank you. notworthy.gif

Should have posted your query in Headphone Amplifier and DAC section, instead of this thread.

Anyway, if you're willing to go to RM5k, can audition Oppo HA-1 at E1 Audio.
You might be able to get it for RM3-4k in the scond-hand market if yiu know where to look for

KLIPSCH R6I or Jays a-JAYS Five?
Which one should I take?
