1.6p cvt...suddenly when pust the start button...car loss power n engine not start...steering cant move at all...brake pedal hard...gear locked...remote cant use at all...like the car power is dead...remote key led blinking....rest it a while after happen...then normal back...

after start...need to recalibrate back eps system....then vsc mulfunction all the way to my home....this morning...vsc back to normal...but my sa ask me to check asap....which i'll do it on this saturday....

i got my "Periodic Inspection" shown up on 502km, so the message will be turned off once after the 1st service?

it wont turn off till u reach 1000+ km...i brought my car to service at around 900km..came back still got the annoying indicator..after one week only its gone

The free service is in the system. You can go to any SC and ask them about the vouchers/free service. They have integrated their systems so that it is a lot easier.

If your dealer says that you have free service. Be sure to ask "Mileage" or "years".

Mine came with 4 years free service or 40,000 KM. Even then, It only covers in the interval of 1k, 10k, 20k, 30k, 40k and they only allow for the Mineral Engine Oil (5k service).

I just got mine 1 month ago and its already 3K mileage.

tl;dr : Please clearly ask the dealer about the "extra" stuff. At most it ain't extra.

But still, I love my 1.6 CVT Premium Iriz.

Is the Mach5 one Mineral Engine Oil?   

I went to the SC and they said that Semi Syn is 8k while Fully Syn is 10k.

if you put it in P or N when engine is idling, you'll notice the rpm will be higher (800rpm) than in D (650rpm). That's the pump engaged to pump the CVT oil in and out of the CVT cooler for cooling and to keep the CVT fluid flowing in the system. In D, the pump will be disengaged, because the increase of engine rpm due to throttle input will keep the fluid flowing & cooling. Therefore, it is recommended to slot into N if you are stationary for 1 minute or more.
And guys, put on your thinking cap. There is a reason why 'city drive' and 'often stuck in jam' is counted as 'severe usage'.

Haha,poor protón,people even analyze the sound of the rain drop on the roof,wonder how dóes the raindrop sounds on merc or any other brand..

Since nobody had talked about raindrops on roofs of other cars, best assumption I could come up with is - The sound is uninspiring on other vehicles, so much that people do not take notice of it.

Seriously though, it does not bother me. lol

what is the fuel consumption? I am not buying unless it can shows at least 14km/L of fuel for mix driving conditions.
