if u want speed, please find bigger displacement. single or two cylinder 250cc is not meant for top speed. u will stress the engine which is not good.

if u have B full, it is recommended for you to get either at least RC390 (with ABS) or CBR500. unless u have budget constrain, then RC200 is ok.

I have a B full license, use EX5 for 5 years then change to 125z for 2 years then change to 135lc for 3 years now using Kawasaki Z250 so far oil consumption wise EX5 is king and seldom have prob but for long distand the Z250 is nice my balls is not squash and have air to breath. From my view if u want the overall bike for commute i think the KTM duke 200 is good since its higher and terrain wise can cover most so u can shortcut any corner, the exhause is short & compact. My kawasaki Z250 can go 190 or 200 maybe more here we don't have the longest road to test most road have hole so be safe then be dead.
