I go to TGV mostly for its IMAX.
For the phone app though I'm quite disappointed with GSC's where I can only pay through mb2u or RHB? Something like that. Can't pay with my CC. Other than that, they are both very similar to me. From online purchasing to cinematic experience I can't really point out which I prefer more. Can't comment on the food, I don't eat there. |

GSC's popcorn tastes like paper and their soft drink tastes bad
TGV's popcorn is nice, and I like their free tumbler. TGV is good at snacks while GSC is good a seatings and environment |

QUOTE(sugarbaby @ Sep 8 2014, 08:40 PM) Hi all, GSC, quite cheap. I'm always buy ticket using Student Card.eI'm doing a survey on TGV vs GSC and I hope you guys can give me feedback on the 2 operators. Positive & negative, as long as constructive feedback, especially on their FB & website promotions, contests, etc. Thanks again! Less ads compared to TGV. Seat - okay for me. Popcorn - Not as good as TGV Website - Quite friendly. I like the Interface compared to TGV TGV- Expensive for me. Popcorn the best Seat - okay. Website - Need to improve the design IMO, TGV ticket and popcorn are expensive. And also Sound system in TGV Sunway Pyramid not good as GSC Setia City Mall that I'm always went. The TGV IMAX room at 1utama is too bright. You can see the ceiling when the movie is playing.

tgv IMAX really gooding, first watch IMAX is in 1U, movie is pacific rim.
impress me a lot, the sound and the 3D effect, like a premium class 3D. today gonna to try GSC dolby atmos, heard its sound system is the best among cinema. |

TGV (1u)
Pros: Couple seats is spacious Have Chillax for more food options Royale popcorn is nice but depending on season because some flavours are not so good Queue for food usually short than GSC Cons: Pepsi instead of Coke. Food & drinks are more expensive Beanie seats really SUCK! IMAX in 1u not so good as compared to Pyramid branch GSC (1utama, paradigm) Pros: Cheaper Coke instead of Pepsi More movie time Website design better Cons: Couple seats not as spacious Queue for food usually long But honestly, I always try to book TGV first although it might be slightly more expensive. 2nd option would be GSC. MBO is my last option as their popcorn really sucks and food choice is SO LIMITED! |
