Short answer. No.

BUT! You can subscribe the Streamyx on somebody else existing "ACTIVE" telephone line. Make sure he keep pay the monthly telephone bill, otherwise your Streamyx are affected as well.

Talking about Internet Speed throttling... Couple days ago, I bought a VPN called AnonVPN (Pay as you wish) from 1.00$ only, I pay 1.01$ (RM4.50) for 1 year subscription. Although only 6 servers to choose from, but I able to torrent max speed of my current 4Mbps. laugh.gif There are option to buy LifeTime VPN, but the company is too new to risk my money. tongue.gif 17.00$ for lifetime. So I better try it first...

already finished download StarWars Episode 1, 2, 3 (aprox. 5~6GB file) using this AnonVPN on my 4Mbps.
