My 3D drawing of my kitchen

I changed the glass doors to melamine G. Kitchen is now under construction and will update once the kitchen is complete.

Attached Image

I changed the design on the refrigerator side because I bought the side-by-side refrigerator and it looks better without the slight protrude L-shape

Got a question. Arcalyc finishing can it be polished? As it seems to be prone to scratches

Having the cabinet on top of the fridge make the room seems crowded.

If it also involved prepare the ductwork and outlet then RM250 is cheap.

The water(sink) and fire(hobs) are next to each other. Have you considered other alternative layout for the cabinets?

Hello, am looking for someone to quote me the fee of demolishing existing kitchen cabinet and replacing a new one. It's 5ft long, and am looking for something budget. Not over the top. Thank you.

Well, they are not really close to each other, there are spaces between them. Just that this is a rough drawing

My suggestion is DO some homework and have some imagination what kinda of design you want (in detail), sometime what designer design might not be your cup of tea...

For material. Melamine is the surface, internally still mdf board

Best material would be solidwood follow by plywood (it come with price)

As for top, check this. http://www.abellastonellp.com/products_comparison.cfm

Why no color 1? Or really B & W cabinet? biggrin.gif

There is something strange look at the fridge side cabinet + fridge. Something too hollow from the gap. Probably the fridge spec requirement.

It is black and white only for simplicity and long term, the fridge area has been modified but no drawing until the real kitchen is up

Just got a quote from my ID:

Kitchen Cabinet To Design:
a) 13' (L) bottom base cabinet. - RM5,460
b) 10' (L) full height wall hung cabinet. - RM3,920
c) 13' (L) selected (SkyStone) quartz stone top. - RM2,830
d) Epoxy glass panel at cooker hood wall. RM1,160
e) Rubine stainless steel one and a half bowl kitchen sink with plumbing work. RM8,80

(Material):
- Imported crystal acrylic high gloss for door leaf and drawer panel.
- 16 mm melamine board for cabinet carcase.
- Imported heavy duty solf close metal carcase drawers runner.
- Imported heavy duty solf close hinge.

Do you guys think the price is OK? I asked about the imported meaning, actually it's OEM from China, and my ID insist told me that using melamine board for cabinet carcass is more durable than ply wood, is it true?

durable? melamine will peel off over time. u can check on the 2nd post of this thread and see the differences of the board.
overall plywood>melamine.
maybe time to get another ID for reference. quality wise is more important

Quartz stone quoted is over priced

Rubine stainless steel sink, with that price you can purchase granite sink

if for long run, Acrylic vs 3g/4g glass finishing which one more lasting?

with the condition of cooking heat generated in the kitchen day to day, will the Acrylic shines get 'faded' easily?
