I'm using the same one that is sold at the shop as well. Just from a different source. How long does it take you to charge from less to 10% to 100%?

Bought my first one from the sony Z3 roadshow at one utama. second set at Sony Store ground floor low yat plaza. @raymondtong94 works there i think.

about whether its original or not, I'm not sure myself. Sony logo is stamp on it, the box it came in is also a sony box and it's sold at sony stores. but people have said that there's no sony model number for it and neither is it listed as an accessory in the official sony websites. therefore the authenticity of it is in doubt.

btw, just a heads up. i paid about RM79 for it. i've seen some shops selling the exact same cable for RM129. I've heard u can get it cheaper though, about RM60 if I'm not mistaken.

I dont really notice, but usually i'll put it to charge at around 10pm++ and if i woke up around 12 to 1 am, it's already full. My brother used his cheaper cable and it takes him the whole night to get his Z1C to fully charge. in 1 hour, it charges only about 10-15%.

For the last 1 hour, I've charge my phone from about 20% to 76%. but i'm using usb connection to my laptop to charge. usually that results in slower charging.

Thanks, my rate with the magnetic cable roughly translate about the same speed. Maybe I need to a data study again on my magnetic cable and my docking for comparison.

I think the rate should be similar between the dock and cable. If u open up the dock, u will most probably see the same cable as the magnetic cable. That's what i found out when I open up my wife's Z ultra dock. lol

129 for dock or magnetic cable only?

RM129 for the cable only. correct me if I'm wrong, but i think the dock for Z3/Z3C doesn't have cables. u need to use the cable that u got with the phone and connect it to the dock.

AFAIK, sony don't sell cable only, the dock itself is that price.

Heard lots of complain that the cheaper cables have slow charging rate. My brother bought a cheap one and it takes the whole night to charge his Z1C. Granted, you might be able to buy a cheap cable that works well. I just decided to spend more for something that i know works well. Dont have time for trial n error.

It's exactly the same packaging as the one in lowyat. I gonna do a test since i got this and the dock for comparison.
