My last few experience there was quite good. Just tell them what you went thru. Don't think need reset again though.

That's why i never wet my phone.
I saw quite a lot of bad review about the waterproof since xperia z.
Not to said Sony's quality is bad, but i really not so confident about the waterproof function.
I saw quite a lot peoples lost their screen in XDA forum. If your phone is only the speaker problem, i guess it is quite lucky :/

BTW, i would advise you, go to tell the SC, you already hard reset the phone before, the other SC also did the troubleshooting too. There is nothing more can check, unless change the speaker. Insist and tell them skip the unnecessary diagnosis, just change the speaker for you.

For me, I will say waterproof feature is quite a marketing gimmick.

I don't think so.
All service centre should be same boss, at least they are linked.

I agree it is very good marketing strategy.
But i believe most users will treat it as an extra protection. I don't think many will really "use" the feature.

I consider it as an extra protection. No matter how drenched am i, at least it won't drown my phone.

But sometimes, I do need to record videos and snap pictures when going to water parks.

As for me, i take it this Waterproof feature as a plus point where it will protect during raining, accidental water spill to the device which i find not available in other device. (Except Galaxy S5)

I dont really dip my z3 into water unnecessarily. brows.gif

Same here. But I guess if you splash water on it shouldn't be a problem. hmm.gif

Many people think it's to take selfies underwater. For me it's just extra protection

My Z3 tested by @raymondtong94 suppose to be no problem .. but i think its my own mistake to open music in water . I notice when open music during dunking , air bubbles start to come out , i suggest not to open any music during water testing .
Done testing , it works .
Now after that , i notice my lower part speaker , Hmm.. not muffled .. but just quite lower volume , a bit lower la , compare to the top . If u close the top , then you will notice the top has more bass, the lower not so much bass .
Lazy want to sent for warranty la . Just dont open music during dunking ma can liao.
