For me, I prefer the original Tough case.

I bring my Z3 to be used around swimming pool and took some underwater pic. Now the screen is blank and can restart. I just bought last week. Wasnt it waterproof? Can i claim warranty?

In that case, send to service center and try.

Is the swimming pool filled with salt water? Even chlorinated water can corrose the earphone jack tho its coated with dunno what technology. This phone is only meant for FRESH WATER proof. Not salted and chlorinated water. In the event of really needing to use it in salted/chlorinated water, u need it rinse it with fresh water thoroughly else corrosion will occur.

i was like..what? lol

i really wish one day i could bring my nearly 8 months old Z Ultra go to Redang Island and record corals in the sea.
i am highly confident with Sony's waterproofing.

My advise after quite a few of purchase of Z series and even Xperia Go

test your device on day 1
water-proof function and etc
no problem mean it will keep that way

always wear full type chassis for your phone for entering water type
it help make sure your lids closed tight at all time.
of course you can choose to ignore all this step
but this is the method i am used to when handling Sony devices.

Better don't try your luck with sea water.. It's stated everywhere in their disclaimer saying only applicable in fresh water. U can simply Google any feed backs of sony xperia z3 water experience.. Loads of complaints and screen dead phone especially in Australia because 90% of their swimming pool is filled with salt water... Of course, island that is surrounded by sea..

I bought from him actually.. The back one is just a normal clear sp protecting from scratches and not a tempered glass..

one of the user here bring into sea right?
only thing is after that need to clean it with flesh water and the cover too.

after service i dont dare to try waterproof anymore. lol

He does sell Tempered glass specially made for back.

Hi. I just bought my z3. Is there any preinstalled screen protector (for anti shatter glass) for front d back glass? If yes, should i install another screen protector on top of it? Tq

still waiting for my z3 to be serviced.... why are they so reluctant to just change my ear speakers ? i called them and they said spare parts have arrived already but they keep on saying they check speakers are normal and no point in changing .... i was like WTF do your ears even work ? and they call themselves 'technicians'...pffft

said will call to inform me of the next step they will take to solve my problem and ta da no calls whatsoever.. expected already by now....

By the way before anyone doubt my phone got problem , i personally go to the service mode and tested stereo speakers and yes top part is muffled seriously.. dont see how it can be fixed with software reset or magically heals itself.... fck that i hv warranty and i wont give up

Don't think so. There's no shattered proof screen protector on Sony devices anymore.

It's always a good idea to put screen protector. I learned my lesson the hard way when my old razr screen has scratch.

Send to service centre at KLCC. Need to wait for 1 month. Another guy sending his Z3 due to the screen cracked itself. Going to sell off the Z3 after i got it back.
