what is meaning of freedom? is it to do geeky stuff like changing fonts, colors or pirated software, etc?

tried z1c and z2 before, the software has many bugs. don't know whether they had fixed it ady.
find7, nope didn't try.

it's not bashing. just learning. if samseng make a smooth phone, surely it will be good.

no interest in nexus 5 bcos never owned one. but i read a few reviews that the features are limited, camera sucks and battery life is awful.
*
freedom. phone out of the box. u take a photo. can share with me via BlueTooth?

i don't like the default/ stock keyboard. i prefer to swipe. can i do that with the phone you have in mind?

my friend made a good home video and its on a Sandisk Dual Thumdrive (the one with regular usb and microusb ends). can i plug into my phone, copy the video and watch on my phone immediately?

my 32GB phone is running out of internal storage. can i plug in a 64GB microSD card and give myself more space?

this one i like. samsung lag so much but he keep buying samsung. until now he in n4 thread lurking he must love samsung so much. just buy iphone end story

from the joker
the meaning is that I have been buying and selling all flagship models e.g. S3/4/5, note 2/3, etc.
*
not just buying samseng. but try out other brands flagships as well.

but nobody can deny that iphone is overall better smartphone, from beginning until today.

just hope one day the samseng boys can catch up.

but n4 is a dissapointment, with no innovation, very similar to n3 (which is nothing much different from n2).

note edge seems to be somethg new but sadly, they don't dare to launch it fully. just test water only.

ppl nowadays use wassap, but u still got choice, either email, icloud or dropbox. bluetooth pairing takes some time and also got security issues

swipe is needed bcos android has poor typing experience, and bad predictive algorithms. so swipe was the make-fix. but with larger screen phones swipe becomes a bit silly because need both hands to hold it anyways

android is suitable for this purpose. but do u do this often enough

my 32GB phone is running out of internal storage. can i plug in a 64GB microSD card and give myself more space?

it is same question if u got 1 tb of space requirement, what do u do?
yeah, most android phones got external mem support but surprisingly, not the nexus series!
sd cards are insecure and prone to malfunctions. u shld do a proper file management housekeeping.

agree, iphone 6+ is just a scaled down ipad mini retina. they shld have put more thinking into making it different.

however the 4.7" model seems to be the better choice. cheaper some more.

I phone overall since day 1 it's never the best overall.

Like my nokia phone drop on the floor my heart won't jump a bit. If an iPhone drop on the floor 99% of ppl rather try to save it.

Many things iphone cannot do and for a flexible user it's really nuisance. Everything it's like having a barrier and limitation from any angle from developer, email, internet, connectivity, features and etc.

Usually native iphone users have problem to adept to android eco system because they made it to a way the more you use it the more slower your brain is.

It's like in our life we are so bind by rules and guide lines when someone let you the freedom to be free you are lost

But when a native android user goes to iphone they have this simplicity feel of hybrid.

Iphone can never follow high spec because their low requirement OS. Just imagine they put snapdragon 805 then ppl will use their old device for 10 years. They need to make older generation obsolete so people keep buying their latest generation

whatapp reduces the filesize. not everyone uses iCloud. not everyone uses DropBox. won't it be good if i could just touch the phones and "beam" the photo? and seriously... that guy is in front of me now. i need to tell him that i can only share with him by uploading it to the cloud or send via email? yes, they do achieve the purpose... just like you can go and dig your nose by making your hand go round the back of your head first. technology is to make life convenient.

swipe is needed bcos android has poor typing experience, and bad predictive algorithms. so swipe was the make-fix. but with larger screen phones swipe becomes a bit silly because need both hands to hold it anyways
i swipe perfectly on my note 2. its a BIG phone. in fact, i find swiping much easier than touching the letters on a keyboard. this is called improvement. swiping is a gesture that is derived from touch interface. very much like how we swipe left, right, pinch, etc... pressing on buttons is based on hardware keys like what we had with those old phones. some keyboards with swipe feature... you don't even need to lift your finger and it can actually do a complete sentence (including space bar). that's progress and that's also why Apple realised it and now allow 3rd party keyboards.

please learn to accept and embrace change.

android is suitable for this purpose. but do u do this often enough
yes, i do share files this way. OTG. thumb drives. microSD. you asked for the meaning of freedom. hence, i am giving you explanation on what freedom is all about on Android. and more.

it is same question if u got 1 tb of space requirement, what do u do?
yeah, most android phones got external mem support but surprisingly, not the nexus series!
sd cards are insecure and prone to malfunctions. u shld do a proper file management housekeeping.

house keeping is an excuse for people who don't have the storage. i have the storage and i should be entitled to do what i want with it. again, this is freedom. freedom of choice. i can choose a phone with microSD if i like it. or i can go with a nexus if i prefer the cloud. and seriously... insecure? i've yet to hear of mass security breach due to photos stored on microSD card... but i recall recently about some photos "stolen" from iCloud.

it boils down to user. smart use know how to use the smartphone.

but more importantly... its about freedom. freedom to choose what i want. be it 5" phone. or 7". or with microSD or not. or whether i can swipe.

Our javier here is getting pissed off replying in big bold red letters. Cool down ! IOS vs Android is a never ending debate. I have used both platforms n both have its pro n cons.
I am unlike some "die die" will argue one is better than the other
I would say is just choose which OS meets your needs better
Both are developing platforms. If one can afford just get one of each OS
Only thing I dont quite like Apple fans is most of them think they are smarter users vs Android!! See some of those fanatical posts at ip6 threads.
How fans will praise is something sometimes quite unbelievable eg recent Apple Watch. Personally it is ugly to me with its crown at its side. But than the praises of it is just unbelievable - innovation , innovation. Anyway i have no interest at all with such wearables. It is good Apple fans love it

yes, agreed that both platforms have their pros and cons though both platform seems to get identical with each iteration, like Apple becoming less strict and opening up whereas Google is closing and locking down more some aspects. smile.gif

ultimately, it's the choice of the person who will buy and use the phone.

when people ask... i share with them what i think. both are good in their own ways and i have send a fair share of people towards Apple as i have sent to Android.

to each his own.

i dont care whatever those ifag fanboys gonna say, but what i am seeing in the trend among the people/community around me be it friends or relatives, all are happily jumping to android from apple and never look back. Even girls opened up their mind and realise so much you can do with android. I still remember back in 2010, when i got my HTC Desire HD, everyone around me was using Iphone 3gs/4. Today, everyone around me is either android, android or android. Apple are the rare occasion to see once in a while, and even some treat their iphones as spare phone for spare line. Android may not be perfect and may need more improvement to get polished. But its features and specs are good enough to win the world. Just like how microsoft (clones pc) vs Apple's mac back then. Time will tell. Peace. biggrin.gif

Gouki : well said. As long as one is happy with it ( either IOS, Android, Windows or BB) stay happy and just learn how to cease talking bad about others OS. I see absolutely no benefit talking bad of any OS. It doesn't show you are smarter or better - just self gratification only
Anyway I will be getting the ip6+ again solely to test out and will keep it longer if I am happy with it. If not, I will just sell it off . I always and only believe in self experience using it - all those web reviews/video are purely reference material only

Nope, you can't do with iPhone. Hell, even you can't drag and drop file like android do. This is the most downside of iPhone! Its required app called iTunes for that.

I owned iPhone 4s, and sold of after few month of pain and troublesome to load, copy, and share file.
Share picture via whtsapp, etc? That just crap. With all the compression, this is just a waste of good photo. Share song? This even more pain in the a$$. I never go back to iPhone with all it limitation. BS.

I was one of those use iPhone 4 and move to Android phone. At first i was surprised to find out that easy to copy MP3 from PC to phone. Then i start to copy movies into it, I'm talking about 4 - 10 GB movies that has DTS. Copy and paste, play via MX Player Pro with custom codec. Totally agree that Android has more to improve but for now very happy with what i need and SPen has been very helpful for Note 3. My kids still use iPad Mini, maybe its hard for them to adopt to Android, tried before but didn't like it. I'm happy for Apple & Android fan they have new product in line, makes technology more competitive and productive.

Android allows to do wonders but sometimes this compromise stability, performance and security. Example Android allows flash player in Firefox but sometimes it use up way too much of memory and CPU, sometimes freeze. In iPhone you cant play flash, simple as that.

+1. MX Player with custom code. Play all file without any issue. Even can customable srt. file. Watching any movies on the good screen phone with good IEM is simply a joy.

That why human are slowly becoming a robot because of iphone. So what Tim cook says his robots will obey.

If it's lag due to too much memory and cpu just restart.

At least on android you have a choice you can choose to use or not. On apple what Tim cook says you need to obey if you use apple. As a user you are a robot you need to obey to continue.

Like windows u can cancel or continue or find alternative.

Apple if Tim cook say can then can.

Apple will never put high spec on the phone because it will kill their brand.

because apple worshiper are robot, if tim cook said its enough its enough the robot will agree.

For those that finally get out of the brainwash highly unlikely to buy an iphone.
