I have a stupid question....nowadays trend of phone come with aluminium/metal frame like mi4 and note 4....but I have tried aluminium/metal frame but I feel it is slippery when you try to take the phone up from the table..too smooth and sometimes not nice to hold...

is me only has this feeling?

No you're not. Used HTC desire HD, sensation, iphone. it's slippery!

i have not lay my hands on the note4 yet, but since the note3 side bezel is chromed in fake metal color, it is slippery too, but i believe the note4 will be better than your iphone and etc becoz its back is made of non slip leather/rubber feel just like note3. should be pretty good combo. premium feel on bezel and grip on the back cover.

When you put your phone on table, only the sides of phone can be touched when you want to take it up from the table..at that time, you will feel not nice to pick it up.....slippery....the leather back can't help at this time...

If price too high, then China branded phone FTW! Even now, I'm not that tempted with Note4 as compared to previous years launching.. I'm lurking more at some China phones, especially those try to focus on audio quality like Vivo

easy... ppl complain because its always easy to whine. ask them what they want (like below) and...
yes, very good Q. honestly, many here complain for the sake of complaining. when asked what they want... they really don't know. or perhaps what they want isn't something technically feasible or possible... like maybe put a 5.7" screen into a 4.7" body, or want a 5.7" phone that lasts a week and can read mind, make coffee, etc...

seriously, if they look at what is currently available (the technology) they should realise there's nothing much at the moment but just incremental. we've reached the stage of maturity similar to the PC (till the next bit tech comes along to change things). we can only expect perhaps lower prices (then again, with GST, etc... flat chance).

any speculations as to whether the local variant will be exynos or snapdragon?

Prefer Snapdragon... and a Big No for Exynos..

but this latest exynos is kicking snapdragons butt in benchmarks. only slightly behind the tegra k1 monster.

i used to be a flashaholic. but stopped with note 3. because of xposed. besides some customs kernels/roms are more trouble than their worth. reboots, waiting for updates etc.

nowadays i find peace using the stock rom/kernels and just mod and tune what i want with xposed, android tuner and TiB. Good enough for me. So i really dont mind if its the exynos version that comes here.
