Most probably for edge you need to get it from Spore. No price announced yet , only Note4 is S$1088. And very sure by 11oct will see lower prices from 3rd party resellers. It has always been same price trend for Samsung in Spore

Edge Samsung already mention only release end of year limited worldwide. So I believe edge need wait till end of year.

alll phones lag after 2 to 3 years..depending on the software upgrade the vendor pushes to the phones...eg my s3, iphone 4, iphone 4s...its normal, and just follow what the lightside told above in his reply..

basically my s3 start lagging after samsung push the jellybean upgrade which they didnt optimise properly..samsung roms has been getting better since then..thats why im giving samsung a try again,rather than going for iphone 6 + which dont have the features note 4 has...

i can tell u something...my s3 release same year with iphone 4s...and iphone 4s lags way more than the s3

now i need to buy a compatible car

expect it to have hotter sales than the iphone 6/6+...gonna be limited, certain market only and pricey(told by samsung executives)

Samsung sales person at Samsung Center say 15th-17th October can get stock,

can pre-order at nearest Samsung center already. i just paid 2 nos Deposit yesterday.

Their early bird pre-order gift : Samsung EVO sd card (didnt state how many gb) + RM50 Voucher X 2.

Worth to go for contract?

Currently I'm on celcom postpaid, which I started when I applied for the iphone 4s. Since then contract end.

So i was wondering if going for Note 4 + contract is worth it. 2 years is also ok for me since I'll be sticking for celcom for a long time.

im curious, if I dont pay deposit for the phone to secure it, will it run out of stock???

u moght need to wait longer than expected..how sure r u that samsung is gonna bring the edge to malaysia officially? if they dont, then u best choice is to get it from singapork or directd because they brought the lg g flex and the samsung curve phone last time

Get the AP set of Note Edge if you don't mind it may cost more. I believe Lavada also will bring in the Edge much earlier than SME. No sure if SME will bring it in or not..

Also they might be possibly not coming, be ready on import set.

depends on your personal, but for me, prefer 1yr contract..

thats the point, SME might not even bring it in...depends on individual whether he want to take the risk to wait and might end up getting nothing from SME...or just get import set from directd or lazada..like the gflex and samsung curve

titi123 my other point, IMO la, is do not get the edge yet, because of the apps dev...its still very new, and the apps now in the market is not optimised for the note edge yet....give it some time, maybe a year or so, let it build its own ecosystem where more and more apps are optimised for the curved part, then u get it..certain dev might already start buliding apps for it, but dont expect it to be super stable yet...only time can tell

Yup, I assume all the app only can get in their Samsung App Store. The market is too small for developer spend time on it.

I think maximum run out of stock for 2 to 3 days. Even so, you still can buy from other shop who keep stock. Don't worry
