QUOTE(davidke20 @ Sep 23 2014, 02:18 PM) Me, will definitely NOT fall for the 1st tow truck that arrived same here, even on my previous incident, i had insurance to toll the car back to my house, place the wreckage there for over a week while i hunt for a suitable workshop that meets my requirements.» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « however for others (like BBQSuckerx3 for example) , especially already up car, first time i've heard need to pay 3k ransom fee just to get it out but yea i think at this point pray they purposely/slowpoke haven't register, and self intervene towards insurance company to cancel the registration i guess? |

QUOTE(BBQSuckerx3 @ Sep 23 2014, 02:43 PM) Luckily I've had boss friend who know that workshop tauke, and assure everything will be original and sheets, just harapharap they will be honest then. you're really missing the point here.Otherwise nothing really can be done.. Due to my case, is my car in serious damage or just minor damage? but if you're not someone who bothers about car warranty, anything goes la. |

QUOTE(davidke20 @ Sep 23 2014, 03:03 PM) Not too serious. If I got a workshop, and if there's less than 5 cars working simultaneously, 5 days job AFTER approval from insurance company. Include new paint & oven bake. lol mine took more than a month. the chassis pulling/reconstruction and anti rust coating took the most time, followed up by layers of painting/sanding/paint again etc.1st day order part and stripping off affected components. If got enough time, will start to turun engine + gebox 2nd day up hydraulic jack, pull chassis. Start to put back suspensions. Up engine + gebox. If got enough time, will start installing body panels and test fit skirtings. 3rd day morning, putty, surface, skinning old paint. Under hot sun dry up. Water test 1 round to test leak. Under hot sun dry again. Spray base coat in the evening. 4th day morning, pak under hot sun continue dry until noon. Spray paint. 3pm masok oven. 5pm come out. If not too busy, can start install back headlamps, skirting, door accessories. 5th day moning, ask clerk call customer collect car in evening.
