I can't help but think Freddies issue that you quoted may have been from incorrect wheel offset.
Tyre wise I'm at the stage of life that all that matters is distance and lack of noise, but it'll be a little while before I need buy any. My new steed is shod with Goodyears, possibly made expressly for export Proton's to Australia as they have a measly UTQG rating of 240, in recent years my tyre of choice has been the Chinese Goodride which cost me a fortune in freight but still work out as cheap as the grey porridge rubbish local fitters will foist upon wood ducks like me, plus I get the satisfaction of doing the job myself.

Threadwear 240 is consider PERFORMANCE doughnuts in our homecuntry laugh.gif

Had good experience with Chinese Hi-Fly nod.gif

Wrong tire pressure? My grip was fine. bad batch? perhaps get nestum to get it checked?
*
Unfortunately, the tyres and rim all purchased nestum. He had sold the tyres and replaced with a set of used Mijilin few days ago, and claimed to have finally remember how a car supposed to be.

I'm not being bias or saying whose wrong, it could be the driver. It could be the car. Or like u said, could be that particular batch is crap. I personally hv no experience with NT8000. I wish to say thank to Freddy933 as he finally pointed me out that N8000 is another stuff. Silly moi sleep.gif"

Saga is already a noisy car to begin with.

High speed dont hear the tyres.

Continental comfort that my car used previously is quiet but wet grip terrible. Using silverstone now is also better.
*
Pls mention that u r using Cibaistone top of their range Kruizer. The CC5 aren't too much better than the Synergy M3/M5. Its just that its less noisy on dry & due to more expansib it has placebo effect that make u feel the CC5 actually grip better than the cheaper M3/M5 =_='

If you're so negative, then source for a better solution. Can you diagnose the error yourself? Maybe via OBD2? If not, do you think you can take the gearbox apart and find the fault? Or maybe there is a lose connector somewhere. Or perhaps your clutch pump got issue.

I dont know what your issue is with going back to a service center, but from what I am seeing, that's probably your best bet thus far. If one SC does not work, then try another one. You can try your luck with outside shops (Read:Bawah pokok), but I cannot guarantee your car will still be in one piece.

Your call.

Fellow GaGacitizens. This morning I was sending my kid to the car, and notice the part of the passenger side wheel is a little bit too shinny. To found that it was rubbed by the Achilles ATR K-Economist wheel guard. Upon confrontation, finally waifu admit she ran into a pod hole yesterday night whilst rushing to HUM to visit a terminal stage cancer friend. She was doing about 60kph whilst hit the pod. What can I say sleep.gif Herewith to inform/warn you guys the pod hole should be around 6 inches deep. Luckily my ATR got wheel guard despite it's a cheapo eco tyre! Ayam impressed the rim got out without scratch! I do not know whether the ATR sidewall can survive, but it will take awhile before it get pregnant(bloated). Take note when you're driving at Jalan Universiti. sad.gif Will send for nestum for a proper wheel alignment within a day or 2.

p/s: How do I know it's about 6" deep? By assessing the wheel guard rubbing area against surface contact. That however, could be slightly discount while the wheels on load/driving, as the sidewall could compressed by an inch.

SS2 to UM? Must be Jalan University lo. The end of the bridge there (in front of petron & KFC) got two holes one, fairly invisible to the eye since the road has recently being repaved. There's one hole on the left side on the left lane right at the end of the bridge and another hole at right side, at the right lane, a bit further up from the first hole, somewhere before the slight curve heading towards the traffic light junction. If a car stayed disciplined on their individual lane, con9lan97firm will masuk one. lol

Those two holes are actually quite huge, and since the road have been repaved, it gets even deeper. The council cant repave the holes because both are metal drain covers. They dint even take the effort to raise em up. doh.gif
*
Think u r rite, may be the KFC double hole area. Usually my driving after downhill will automatically do a jiken dodge over there laugh.gif According to her, it was a huge bang. And I heard many sound in the car as she drive me out for berakfast doh.gif Cant imagine how the rim is gonna be if the tayar don't have a wheel guard with it.
