Following the completion of his deal at the beginning of the summer, Ander Herrera has now had a few weeks to assess the other new signings at the club.
After United’s 4-0 victory over QPR, Herrera discussed his new team mates.
“I think they played very good football, they had some very good passes and always kept the ball,” he said. “Marcos is very, very aggressive and this is important for the team. Blind never loses the ball and we are happy, but of course we have to improve still.”

Daley Blind had a fantastic debut for Manchester United yesterday in the middle of the park. He completed an incredible 107 passes with a 96% accuracy.
Following the game, Blind says working with Louis van Gaal will only make him better.
“He is very honest to everybody, he knows what he wants and he knows his philosophy,” Blind told the official site. “He can bring that to the players and he can make a team with everybody. That is a good start for us if you want to work for each other. I have really learned a lot from van Gaal and I like working under him. I haven’t worked that long with him. I only worked with him at the World Cup and in the qualification games. He also helped me a lot and I have learned a lot from him. I hope to learn a lot from him in the next season as well. I think he can make me a better player in terms of positioning, where to stand and tactics in games because midfield is an important position to play. I hope I can get better at it every day.”

Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera has expressed his delight after scoring on his home debut during Sunday's 4-0 win over Queens Park Rangers.

The Spanish midfielder found the net with a strike from the edge of the penalty area yesterday afternoon as United picked up their first victory of the season.

Herrera now hopes that the Red Devils can build on their comfortable win and make a swift climb up the Premier League table.

"I am happy, of course," he told the club's official website. "It is important to [score] a goal at Old Trafford, one of the best stadiums in the world. I am happy for my goal but I am happier because we won.

"I wish it can be our first step and I am sure it is. The next games are very important because we want to be as soon as possible at the top of the league."

United continue their Premier League campaign this Sunday when they travel to Leicester City.

Today, I would have to say it has been Angel Di Maria. We played 10 against 8 and he scored a great goal and he was really good.

Who scored the best goal you have ever seen in training?
This is an easy question! Paul Scholes. He scored maybe 20 goals that were, you know, wow! Maybe more than 20 like that in training. Ryan Giggs also scored so many brilliant goals in training.

Which is the best goal you have ever scored in training?
I have scored many as well, to be honest. There are loads, I can’t remember! They were good ones though!

Who is the most competitive player in training?
I would say Chris Smalling - he is very good and very competitive in training.

So if you were picking your ideal five-a-side team, would you and Chris be in it?
Yes, I would put Chris and I together at the back with Antonio [Valencia], Wazza [Wayne Rooney] and Ander Herrera.

Which is your favourite part of training?
I like to play five against five or four against five, that type of game. I love it!

Love him or hate him, he's been pretty consistent stats wise for us throughout the years. Hopefully his days as #10(position) is over though. Put him upfront.
