You know i actually get another email from Lazada this morning saying my 1s had been shipping & should be arrive anytime soon & when i call their service center to confirm the order status the guy who answer my call say that

"Yeah dont worry your phone is shipping"

and then i tell him i actually already cancel the order and then he say

"Ok let me check first ya" and then he say "Ok yeah i can see your order is already cancel so just make sure dont receive the phone and then you will get your refund back few days later"

and then i ask him how come i still get a email telling me the phone is shipping he say

"Its because sometime they having problem to update order status in time"

Its not just the amount of memory, its the poor ram management of the redmi that is messing things up. There is normally 200-350Mb free when all the apps are closed. When you have 2 or more apps open, apps will start swapping. So you won't be able to listen to music while browsing for example. I don't know how quickly the big problems like battery life and ram management will be addressed but it doesn't look good. I was planning to get another redmi for family members but I will get them something else. No point risking 2 phones if the problems will take a long time to get solved if at all.

Many reviews never brought up the simple issues of poor battery life, overheating, poor ram management and I can guess why. Some are company shills who are flogging a hot product or scalpers. The were posters boasting about the long battery life which I can only guess they heavily tweaked their rooted phones possibly with custom roms or they just plain lied.

1st: I not the one who sign
2nd: I didnt authorize my housemate to sign, my housemate already told them i not at home & they ddint call me at all (wth they want my contact number by the way if they actually wont call ??)

Weekly updates doesn't mean things are good. It might mean a ton of bugs need squashing and customers are the alpha/beta testers. And they are more interested in building up their v6 MIUI and accumulating more bugs in the process.
To be fair, Xiaomi did fix a big problem of losing connection when 2 simm cards are installed recently.

I will guide you on how to install modified China ROM. The performance is very good
