Finally gotten the JVC Spiral Dot... i have to say the JVC Spiral Dot fit better than the stock ear tips... i may not be an enthusiast in audiophile, but the bass on the JVC ear tips sound somewhat "deeper"... as for the treble, dont really feel much different...maybe i will try out other music... liking KC06A even more now... Is this similar to SE215? I dislike sharp/bright trebles. More to midrange and tight bass kind. Suitable? Or is there any other brand/model? Havi B3? AT IM series?

AT IM series? Shure IEM wise, I'm not so familiar. But I think Ostry and Shure should sound quite different. KC06 is with brighter treble, more to clean and neutral kind of sound. KC06A is warm and thicker in mids with darker treble; bass is tight. ATH IM50 is with larger sound stage, and good separation, imaging not as solid as Ostry. Bass quantity is more but slightly loosen.

Went to the Stars Picker store today. Really impressed by the people there! Nice place, atmosphere and good looking girl too. Bought the KC06A and after using a proper fitting eartip I must admit the sound is amazing. 10/10 would come again

I'm always on the lookout for good value Chinese earphones, and bought the KC06 after reading its glowing reviews. My benchmark is the GR07 Classic. I found the midbass and mids of the Ostrys to be forward, and treble not lacking in detail, with average soundstage. Having said that the Ostrys are punchy and aggressive to my ears, good for rock and metal, and bcos of the mid-forwardness, good for vocals as well.
The GR07 however, is more balanced, detailed and refined with a wider soundstage. It doesn't have the attention-grabbing bass and mids of the Ostrys, but I found it suits more genres. Ultimately I still preferred the GR07, and used it more often. The more I used it the more tamed the infamous harsh treble was. Eventually I sold the Ostrys to a friend who really liked it for what it was. A worthy little puncher.
