I think we can transfer the "Ponzi" title to CIMB Asia Pac Dynamite Income...

It's been going up almost on a straight line...

1-year return...20%+

But CIMB APDIF doesn't swing violently like AHAQF.

1. Opening up of China equity markets thru Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect, now global investors can go DIRECT into China red chip stocks. China got BOTH growth and dividend yield.
2. US stops QE, hot money flowing back to US.
3. Banks FD war...ppl who made good money from stocks could be cashing out of stocks and preserve capital, move to FD.

window dressing means that fund managers will wanna dump their loss-making holdings

means, stocks already in the red will go redder sweat.gif

It could be the other way round whereby Jib Gor wants to push the index higher for nice looking.

I noticed CIMB GTF recovered in 2 weeks time. Blame myself believed the so called economists on the news said that economy was doing unprecedentedly bad and bla bla bla. After I sold then read that the market fundamental is good, and expected it rebound. shakehead.gif

Frankly I invested just based on the recommended fund and past performance. Only little research was done. That time not very understand about it. Thought to get my hand dirty and get some feeling of investment like what all gurus said here la... tongue.gif

As of now, money from the sale i just park in CMF as I want to spend more time to study the funds before recklessly go in again. But first thing want to invest in PRS first la. Any recommendation?

I have a doubt in PRS with fsm. lets say I invest in kenanga PRS through FSM and one day FSM bankrupt, is it possible to get back my money from kenanga?
*
By the way, PRS vis FSM is still directly under your name.

up, up , up too fast and too high in too short a time?
hmm.gif should I take some profit or plan exit strategies?

fi,...last 1 month
GTF down slower and abit lesser than GEY
GTF up faster and higher than GEY
now my GTF is + 1.8,    GEY is still - 1%
*
My CIMB GTF ROI is 2.97%

CIMB GTF is being dragged down by Eurozone since it has 1/3 allocation there.

S&P500 inches higher to another record at 2052:

U.S. stocks rose to a record, led by energy and small-cap shares, as data showing improvements in the American economy overshadowed concern over weaker growth overseas.

Luckily I managed to buy CIMB Global Titans in time before recent spike biggrin.gif

CIMB GTF cannot really rip the total benefits as it has around 30% allocation in US.

Unless you have RHB-OSK-GS US Equity Fund. My ROI is 9.23%
