Just come back from FSM workshop at JB. Learn some basic stuff of creating portfolio, most thing is known thing, just good to get refresh and relook into current portfolio.

As standard, there is a promotion for the fund house involved, which is Libra Invest. This fund house would rather new to me, how ur guy think of Libra Invest's fund, especially "Libra EquityEXTRA Fund", look promising and consistent return over the year.

The Libra fund promo thingy should have expired yesterday, bro!

Well, I said earlier, different people, different cook book:

1. Some may freak out
2. Some may take it as opportunity to buy in
3. Some wait-and-see
4. Some doesn't do anything (ignore it)

I know this fund will make into this month monthly recommended fund.

And bam! I was correct! I should have bought this fund instead of the other EI fund.

I was considering between Affin Hwang Select Opportunity (at the same time boost Bolehland exposure) or CIMB Asia Pac Dynamite (boost HK/China and Aussie)

Opinion?

Most of the ASEAN funds are heavy in kiasu-land and boleh-land too: PM SEA Select Fund and RHB-OSK ASEAN Fund.

Both AHSOF and CIMB APDIF are investing in the same region but different focus.

CIMB APDIF didn't disappoint me that much and during the October volatile period, it didn't drop much. To date, it gives me 23% ROI, 14% of CAGR. rclxms.gif

Best fund in my portfolio.

Japan print money, EU also maintaining accommodative monetary policy

Good for dividend stocks

Asia Pac Dynamite heavy in Aussie stocks which gives good dividend yield %

Kangaroo-land stocks are sensitive to China news and AUD movement.

Somehow, Kangaroo-land oriented fund makes it to top 5 fund:

RHB-OSK Agriculture Fund 4.76
KAF Global Diversified Property Fund 4.14
RHB-OSK Multi-Asset Recovery Strategy Fund 4.13
RHB-OSK Asia Financials Fund 3.4
CIMB-Principal Australian Equity Fund 3.32

Guess what, my RHB-OSK-GS US Equity Fund hit 8.2% return as of end of October in 2 weeks time. laugh.gif

And finally, my CIMB GTF is finally entering to green zone.

Ironically speaking, PRS is feeder funds to the existing mutual funds under management of the particular PRS provider.

i mean it's like a fixed saving.. you wont be able to use it in times of emergency..
That's what my friends told me.. if u are still young..

I always advise my friends or juniors before really committing to PRS, make sure that the money contributed is not from the poll of money that you need in nearest future.

Apart from just chasing for the tax relief of RM 3k yearly, think properly before putting money into PRS.
