Several sources from the internet reveals that Vista RC1 will be released on the 7th of September 2006 although no actual confirmation is given from Microsoft.

Installed with Windows Vista ™ Pre-RC1 Evaluation copy, Build 5536 and testing now...

installed and using it now...much much better than beta 2. no problem in activation...will post more should there be any problem...

RC1 is available now on MS Connect. It will be officially released to the public at a later date.

Build is 5600 and in both x86 and x64 versions.

speed and performance is a huge boast for those who tried beta 2 (5384.4) before
i've 12 screenshots ready and will upload if you guys want

Can you upload the picture andyjyneo ?
Btw, what's your hardware performances , ram processor etc? rating ?
It's it smooth running it ?
I want to install but...the problem is..my pc can't load smoothly eventhough i have full requirement of it.

my requirements will be inside the screenshots

quite smooth, but it needs more polish
however, there're still many software incompatibilities
too bad
