That thing i don't know. I change from Maxis to Altel takes almost 2 days. Maxis sent to me message "Thanks for being with us bla bla bla", and then I replace maxis sim to Altel Sim, and i can start using Altel.

Celcom = Deregister
Celcom = Cut
Digi = Register
Digi = Port 019 to 016 server
Digi = Activated

thats why need 1-2 days.

OK still need another day but don't know why they send message "Your line about to be activated by DIGI, please replace your SIM card as soon as your current line stops working"

I think TS uncle didnt replace sim card yet..
Last month it only took me 1 day +. Once I received SMS, I just switched to DIGI sim card, straight away can use.. But since I'm impatient, they didnt have time to reset my internet configuration. LOL

Shouldn't the new telco give a temporary number first?

Currently, not in Malaysia, so pardon the ignorance.

At least MNP here will get temporary number first. Then will get sms after number is ported, asking to restart device.
