Seeking a phone for my relative. Budget RM800 and below. An average user know nothing about upgrading firmware or software. Just a normal user that use a phone as a standard conf.

Browsing through this thread found out that most of people recommend Mi3 but the price can't get below RM800.

Tired already to browse through, if the phone will be mine of course find and keep searching.

Need advise from all the sifu here for a better option.. peace..

1) Brand: Any
2) Budget: the cheaper the better. 400, 500 or lesser if available.if there is no model fit my requirement, more expensive is ok
3) Specs: can use memory card
4) great battery life, excellent wifi reception, very big screen but still pocketable.
Maybe 6 inches or above. The old asus fonepad is too big to fit in pocket.

Highest spec I could only think of Z1 Compact. Ap set now selling at 1.1k. Urgent? If not urgent, wait for a while, coz Z3 Compact is officially launched and start selling, so Z1 Compact's price might drop sumore.

Maybe u can consider Moto G LTE? Smooth with stock android. But camera might not be as good as One X.

u can consider Nexus 5, LG G2 or Mi3 if u can deal with 5" display and top up a little.

Mi3 can get at RM769 no? Check it out at xiaomi's website.

Otherwise can consider Moto G LTE, Zenfone 5 A500KL.

a few Lenovo in ur criteria which is 6 inch phone, S930, S939, A889.

slightly below 6" u can also consider Redmi Note.

If u can top up, can consider Zenfone 6.

i still undecided whether to choose between xperia z3 & z3 compact....should i save a bit money for smaller size?? both have almost same spec though...

i need to buy a phone for my dad, who is using a lenovo p780 4gb rom version, but the storage is full now and he cannot update his app in his device. so i decided to trade in the p780 and buy him a new phone to use. so, here is my demand:

1. Brand. (any)
2. Budget. (better below 1k)
3. Specs. (ram at least 1gb of course/rom at least 8gb with sd card slot, or above 16gb rom with no sd card slot/at least quad core/around 5" screen)
4. What you need in the phone (decent camera/big capacity battery[3-4k mah]/dual sim)

s860 battery life is awesome.

Own a Redmi Note and I would say a downgrade from Note 2. I thought there is Note 3 dual sim?

I dont think there are a such phone exists. Maybe is Asus brand range got. The ZenFone come with Snapdragon 410 LTE capable.

Got some budget around 2.2k for a new phone to replace my z10. Currently using my note 8.0 for work utilizing its stylus for taking note etcs.

Need something new, reviewed z3, note 4, xiaomi mi3, mi4 but still cant decide which is the best since there are pro and con on every model.

Zenfone series is gud. Even my granma oso using zenfone 4.

personal pick, i'll go for z3. For the occasional accidental water splash. A bit safety proof for me.

How about LG G3? Good specs at cheaper price. But cons is no ori set from LG malaysia. Only got ori set from other country (ap set) from phone shops like directd or satugadget.
