i still undecided whether to choose between xperia z3 & z3 compact....should i save a bit money for smaller size?? both have almost same spec though...

i need to buy a phone for my dad, who is using a lenovo p780 4gb rom version, but the storage is full now and he cannot update his app in his device. so i decided to trade in the p780 and buy him a new phone to use. so, here is my demand:

1. Brand. (any)
2. Budget. (better below 1k)
3. Specs. (ram at least 1gb of course/rom at least 8gb with sd card slot, or above 16gb rom with no sd card slot/at least quad core/around 5" screen)
4. What you need in the phone (decent camera/big capacity battery[3-4k mah]/dual sim)

ive been using a sony xperia acro s for the past 1.5yrs n these days its lagging really bad...getting sick n tired of the lag.

was thinking of taking the maxis package for the xiaomi redmi note...

would it be a decent upgrade? after I reinstall my apps, would it lag badly?

my main priority would be good camera, good wifi connection for action cam n good gps for racechrono n waze

gaming is mostly angry birds n hill climb racing...ive had to uninstall a few other apps just to have some space in my acro s

fb n instagram as well as yoytube n web browsing oso heavy usage

Vibe X got slightly better camera and 1 GB more ram and two more cores compared to Zenfone 5

But Zenfone 5 is quite popular among them and all got decent ratings and it got expandables memory , can insert MicroSD card.

Hi sifus in this thread, im going to get a new phone in about 2 weeks+ more, coming from a galaxy s2 on CM11, my phone overheats alot and the battery gauge is dead,

3. reasonable, the less laggy the better, decent battery life (approximately 4 hr 30 minutes Screen on time, i wont use more then 50% brightness usually), Screen size below 5.5 inch, im a very one handed user
