Sifu help me decide ... 1.5k below .. my MI3 f***ed up ...

Specs: quad core 2.0Ghz or ++
Screen between 4.7 ++
At least 2GB RAM.

Main usage: surfing , whatsapp, email .. Currently have few in my mind now , Z ultra - big screen good for surfing (not sure about battery life & performance). LG G3 (slightly over budget) & Nexus 5 (low battery life) ..

Thank you all. Seems like he is already looking into that particular model at the moment. However, I noticed that stores such as directd is only selling ap set and not the ori version. Is this something that he should be worried about?

shud i buy xiaomi4 or 1+ 1?? choosing present for friend. or any phone within this range? or i can wait for a month or over a bit..

Bigger screen, slimmer, best is the Cygen Rom.

Buy Mi4 if you want better accessories option.

Asus 1.6Ghz Zen 5 with 2GB is good. Tested but the concern is.

1. A bit warm even with Nillkin case.
2. Intel Atom compatibility on some games.
3. Battery not that long lasting.

Other than is a very decent phone with fast and smooth interface and excellent camera for its price.

Wait for Mi4 to release locally.
AP is at available but at Directd.

Why not Xiaomi 1s or Huawei 3c.

Mi3 at 769 or wait for Mi4 at 1k+. Rest save the money.
Battery is good as 3000mah for 5 inch screen. I gotten 1 1/2day on my Mi3.

Mi3 is great but the only problem is the 16GB memory limit

Z3 for camera and underwater shots.
M8 is not a bad phone, but for good speaker output.

Mi4 will come with 64 GB.
Or go for One Plus One 64GB at 1399.

I contacted Xiaomi but they don't have any plans for releasing Mi4 for Malaysia, OnePlus One is great but international version got no warranty.

Mi4 should be release soon. Anyway m8 and z3 is great.

This was the reply from them that I got yesterday:

"For your information, we've only started selling the 3G (TD/WCDMA) version of Mi 4 in China.

The 4G TDD-LTE version (not supported in Malaysia) released in China in September.
International FDD-LTE (supported in Malaysia) will only be launched at the end of this year.

Currently, we do not have any plans yet to launch Mi 4 in Malaysia."

Then M8 or Z3.

Well, it was for my father, and he doesn't play game. His main purpose is to surfing internet, and communication.

His previous phone is Lenovo smarpthone, A766, and he wasn't satisfy with its performance as he keeps experiencing software crash (the phone only got 2 apps, chrome and whatspp) and hardware crash. Even reboot something is not available unless he pug the battery out and in.

So, I am now looking for an alternative for him.

How about the Samsung Grand 2? Someone offers me Rm700 for this piece of phone.

Samsung Grand 2 Vs Zenfone 5. Also, there is Zenfone 5 with 2 GB ram? More pricey I assume?
