Did anyone notice that if you use a different charger and cable other than supplied with the OPO, the charging time doubles from 2 hours to 4 hours for a battery drained phone to full. Im finding it very irritationg to have to charge the phone for so long. 

i recall there USB has got some standards when it comes to how things are wired, etc... they can't simply swap things around and still call it USB.

i've been reading up and there are mention of cables with 28/28AWG vs 28/24AWG. those with 28/24AWG would actually give you better charging experience. its got to do with the "thickness" of the cable.

Already highlighted this issue before, if ur battery is 1% better charge it as it has auto shut down system. So if u are still using when on 1%, u might be run into some complication later.

Do remember that nickel–metal hydride battery (NiMH) batteries does not have memories on how often you charge your phone. Therefore it is not neccessary to use your phone till it drains out and recharge it. Risking using your phone to this level may actually damage your phone or the contents and data in it as it could suddenly shut down due to lack of power left in the batteries.

Should I buy a china unit OnePlus One with ColorOS? Or should I get the international version and flash it with ColorOS? My dad is looking forward for a OPO from Find 7. The battery consumption is just too high.

for me.after getting the handset.first of all its a must FACTORY RESET to prevent any bugs or error.thats what i did to my OPO last wednesday when i buy it.best phone i ever use.(before this xperia Z).

the CS11s is quite stable and smooth.not getting any error or FC.
overall : really good phone with low price! now its 18 hour since last charge and battery now showing 40%.
