Be careful switching to Art, do make system and data backup first. Some roms will freeze and crash.

QUOTE(Haters_Gonna_H8 @ Sep 1 2014, 02:40 AM) omgwtfbbq!! ure right. i just did some test on the different radio roms. all tests were done on HSDPA network. telco: celcom. hard to get LTE in my pc room at home. Thanks for your comparison, now we know Digi and Celcom works well with M9 radio. 33r really a letdown, I did the test 3 times for 33r because I didn't believe it, how come become worse with latest one?here's the result: 33R radio: mode hsdpa download: 5.64mbps upload: 3.52mbps m9 radio: mode hsdpa download: 20.70mbps upload: 2.40mbps m8 radio: mode hsdpa download: 11.65mbps upload: 1.63mbps 30O radio: mode hsdpa download: 19.59mbps upload: 1.61mbps ![]() guess we have a clear winner here i'll continue to use M9 radio from now on. wanna see its performance while at the office Now my next question is what did Ehndroix rom do to the gps settings to make it lock so fast ie instant lock? I wonder if it can bring the mod to other roms. This post has been edited by DannyOP: Sep 1 2014, 03:22 AM |

The difference is just the logo, for some people it's important. For me local warranty is more important and also I can spoil myself by opening and checking as many boxes as possible to get a perfect unit without yellow tint or dead/lazy pixel. Due to the nature of warranty, AP set now becomes similar to local set, and International set becomes AP set because no warranty.

QUOTE(haruyap @ Sep 2 2014, 01:27 AM) hmm interesting. I have the latest cynogenmod version 11.0-XNPH33R but I've lost the root and TWRP recovery. Lol, does this happens after a clean wipe? This happens if u don't uncheck update recovery in the settings before flashing another rom.I guess I'll root it again XD |

Correct, depends on individual's usage. 16gb is the sweet spot for me, as I don't use phone to watch movies or even listen to music, only some online games at the most. The only time I will ever want movie or listen to music is if I'm going somewhere far on a road trip or long flight as a passenger. If I'm at home, I prefer home theatre and hifi to my phone.
At the moment I still have 50+% empty storage on the 16gb. Btw does OPO support OTG? |

QUOTE(EricCYL @ Sep 2 2014, 08:49 PM) Should be nightly, it's settings menu looks somewhat similar to all the CM roms i use on my EX devices and different from what i saw in Android Authority OPO review Directd has never flashed nightly before. All the while it's always been cm11s. In fact there is no ColorOS from any of the local shops. The staff did told me not to OTA the device as it will brick the device and need to send back to them for RMA I remember reading OPO china batch are all Color OS but i got mine with CM11 which still runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2 Since u r a first time user, you won't be able to tell because cm11s and cm11 looks the same. They are all the same, the oleophobic layer will wear off eventually. As I advised to some get a bottle of rainx equivalent and apply it on the screen, viola.. brand new again.
Btw Note 4 has just been launched, OPO 2 needs to be out soon to compete with 4GB ram, 805 processor, 4k screen, metal frame, 16mp shooter and fast charge. Looks like they really throw in everything into the new Note. This post has been edited by DannyOP: Sep 3 2014, 11:04 PM |

If there is something to cover the plastic chrome I don't mind, end up using a case to cover the bamboo back also doesn't matter what colour is the back anymore.
