heheh actually i also almost panic when the fastboot flash system.img got stuck. then i tried to turn on the phone but it wont go pass boot screen. i kept my cool n browse the net for solution n then decided to just flash it again for the 2nd time. success. then i turned it on and everything is well again.

i was like fuh thank god everything went ok. 

On 33R, notice that the battery life is more of less the same.. Still draining 5% in 6 hours of sleeping time idle.
WiFi On, mobile signal at full bar throughout the night.
Nothing stayed awake, as my screen is the one consuming the most battery.

Maybe expectation too high on the 33R.. What a let down.

I'm still on XNPH25R and still no OTA for XNPH30O. Tried manually flashing through stock recovery and it gives me this error that footer is wrong and verification failed.
Tried another edited zip file gives me error status 7.
Any ideas on how to get the update and kind enough to give instructions if it requires the use of a computer?
I'm on a Mac BTW.

For those who experience their oleophobic coating wearing off,  just apply rainx to your glass sp,  it will renew the coating which will last another 6-12 months depends on usage.

Anyone used imak casing? How is it?

Gotten my 64GB white Cina mali (direct from OPO China Official website) unit last sat. It came with ColorOS and yes, it came WITH app drawer. I triple confirmed that it has drawer and even prompted to update upon booting and after updated, the app drawer still EXIST.

Next I did was to unlock bootloader, flash custom recovery and update to 33R using zip file.
But I noticed that the fastboot mode is till remain ColorOS bootloader as there was no CM Logo when I was on that fastboot mode. I guess need to flash image instead to completely change it?

Wechat app voice message cannot be captured but the other party one can be heard even on 33R revision.

The NFC is able to beam phone to phone but however, it seems like having problem in launching app when detecting NFC-enabled card or passport. The detection sound keep beeping non-stop but no pop up screen to select which NFC app to launched corresponding to the detection. Googled and it lead me to JIRA page that seems to have this issue since on the 25R revision. So anybody care to test out your phone for this?

The protection of official back case is not comprehensive, top and bottom is revealing. The grip is kinda slippery and I am worry each time I holding the phone as if it is going to slip out of my palm. So now I will start hunting for another case which provides full protection and as well as the grip.

Edit: Yellow tint does exist on the bottom. The inspection date was on 30/7/2014. It is noticeable but not too serious, I shall just wait to see if it goes away after some time of using.
