Hi guys, Just wanted to share this with other loves of the old school type of entertainment! Basically me and my friend (who is a very experienced DM) are looking for players to start a pen and paper DM session. It seems like this art has been lost over the years, given the amount of online games etc in existence. We would love to bring the joy of pen and paper back to the realm and are even willing to teach new players how the game is played (provided they are genuinely interested in doing so). Any players looking for something of the sort, please PM me or reply to this message so we can chat further. Many Thanks!! For those that dont know me and my friend have been playing since the second edition, which gives us plenty of experience when it comes to playing. We can ensure that new players feel at ease.
For those that dont know they can google what old school Dungeons and Dragons is about and or just message me so I can send the appropriate links. Hope to start a session soon with other enthusiants in KL for continual purposes!!!

how does one avoid or at least reduce confusion between games like those from D&D, WarHammer, MTG with games like Uno, Jenga, Scrabble, Monopoly and others?

QUOTE(goldfries @ Mar 1 2015, 09:39 PM) how does one avoid or at least reduce confusion between games like those from D&D, WarHammer, MTG with games like Uno, Jenga, Scrabble, Monopoly and others? All of them are table-top games, a general term used to refer to board games, card games, dice games, miniatures wargames, tile-based games and other games that are normally played on a table or other flat surface. The term is used to distinguish these types of games from sports and video games, which today enjoy more popularity than most tabletop games. The term is also used to distinguish role-playing games from role-playing video games and LARPs, although role-playing games may not necessarily require a wide playing surface. QUOTE(Deadlocks @ Mar 18 2015, 11:12 PM) Hello sorry forgot to attend to this. OK so current there's no disagreement on this. Are there many existing threads on card games? If not then maybe we can use topic-tagging first.
