your family member need use that viva? if yes then keep it and you buy Axia lo, if no then just trade in it since trade in will get Axia faster (within a month) + everyday & every year your viva is depreciating.

recommend air pressure is 250/ 36 written beside your driver seat door there with sticker, previous post people have asked perodua SC, they said such high air pressure is for reduce silverstone noise. i dunno?

first "real" service is 10km changing engine oil etc and etc, however 1k and 5k is just for inspection only and is free for 1 & 5km. I went 1-2 months ago for my first 1km service, perodua SC terus chop on my 5km service booklet after done simple inspection (check engine oil level, cooler etc) then they told me come back after 10km lol. I guess they just dont really care about it, maybe be cause it's FOC.
*
sweat.gif never notice the air pressure note beside the driver door. need to check it tomorrow.

when you went to 1km service, did you need to book first? how long did you book before the service if you did?
so either 1km or 5km is ok? i thought they will change the oil for first service and not only inspection?

so sorry so many questions. totally newb about car maintenance! notworthy.gif

Follow ECO drive indicator (accelerate moderately, top speed 100km/h) = 20-22km/liter

Drive suka hati (press a lot more for faster acceleration) and blasting 130km/h = 16-17km/liter

Pick one.

First rule of save fuel. Basically can do this step to any auto car (conventional gbox)
1. Know which lowest rpm needed by the gbox to shift up automatically
2. Apply throttle accordingly so that the gbox fast fast shift up. Means dont hold too low rpm, the gbox will not shift up, and dont rev too high, burn more fuel.
3. Let say the car happily shift up at 2300rpm, from 1>2>3>4.
4. When at final gear (4), try drive the lowest rpm, but dont too low speed until the gbox shift down automatically.

Tldr version, apply fuel so it fast fast (but not over rev) shift up to final gear. When at final gear, hold lowest rpm.
Maybe below than 2000rpm. Roughly 60kmh for axia.

Reason why u save fuel using this technique is to quickly shift to final gear, and hold the lowest rpm at final gear because thats where u spend more time on the road, cruising. Shift from 1>2>3>4 normally done within less than 400meter..
So if ur destination is 60km long.. U spend the most time in gear 4 right?
