now i got my eye on the G9300 Mudman. what ur opinions about that model ?
*
most of the g9300 i surveyed are below rm500, i'm ok with the function but the look still can't convince me yet... maybe u can try search also gw9400 rangeman, one of master g series too, with a nicer looking smile.gif but I did show u before la, u ignored it becoz of the red gshock word on the case...among all your list, the most preferable is gx56 so far biggrin.gif

i dun really like the look of the rangeman. yea i know u showed me...dat time my taste was more for a all black g shock. as black as possible. but now after looking at more pics of the G9300 n reading about it, the more i want it LOL.

QUOTE(Everdying @ Feb 2 2015, 04:32 PM)
which rangeman got red gshock word on case?
afaik the only one got red gshock word is the ltd love the sea and the earth model.

gx56 if ur wrist huge ok la, i had it...and even tho initial pics that ppl post show rangeman bigger than gx56...on the wrist the rangeman feels smaller.
but of cos g9300 is still smaller abit.
*
tongue.gif tongue.gif not the gshock word is red, i mean the g9300 color is black+red which bro jonny4 previously prefer only black matte gshock

QUOTE(jonny4 @ Feb 2 2015, 05:29 PM)

For me, why not... a Gulfman won't lose on looking classy... Else, a normal ones would be of course, in black... not colourful as if colourful, it for sure not so proper for the formal occasion you are attending...

Imagine a CEO in formal coat full attire except the watch which he chose a Rasta... Well, it don't look so proper, right ? That's my point of view, maybe other beg to differ ?
*
same thoughts, am going to collect a whole bunch of matte black gshock, not really like those colourful or fancy fancy Gs

QUOTE(lokgotz @ Feb 4 2015, 12:31 AM)
Wow. This thread is picking up steam eh? Plenty of new collectors? The G-Shock scene these days is more of a resellers market than a collectors market. It was more exciting a few years back (check back V2 and V1 of this thread).

I've slowed down a bit on my collecting. Nothing from the recent releases catches my eyes (thank God). I still have a few from the older releases I want though. Let's see if I can get them before CNY.
*
finally god of Gs appear, i did read thru all the previous comments before I started my gs collection, still looking forward to your collection model bro, do u owned any gd100 or this model DW5600EG-9V?

QUOTE(lokgotz @ Feb 4 2015, 10:05 AM)
I avoid GD-100s like a plague. The module is prone to this problem where the digits on the screen disappears. I have one that is like that and I think I read one forummer here in this thread that had the same problem. In fact, there are always a few units up for sale on eBay that suffers from this problem and being sold for parts. It's quite a widespread problem and I've seen at least 5 among my friends that suffers the same problem.

I only have one GD-100 currently and it's the Irman Hilmi x G-Shock (GD-100-1AKL). The other ones I had were either given to people as presents or sold.

With regards to DW-5600s, I only have two, the DW-5600BB-1 and the DW-5600SG-7. I prefer the 5000 series when it comes to squares.
*
i see, i guess i just avoid gd100 then, was attracted by the design and the 7 years battery life, as for 5600 series, the one i'm looking for is come with gold buckle, gold button, and a yellowish display (which quite ignore, look old) sweat.gif

btw, may i knw most of yr Gs is made from china or thailand? marco warranty is made from thailand? hmm.gif my 1st gshock is international warranty (the buckle there written casio china) while my 2nd gs is casio thailand (which the shop owner claimed that this unit is covered under marco corporation) no problem right?

QUOTE(zhuting @ Feb 4 2015, 10:22 AM)
Hi anyone know where can I get the G shock bluetooth GBA 400 1A9 black gold with better price in KL??

I found many shop selling at 699-700MYR

Anyone one know?
*
the price should be ok d, dun expect to be cheaper, i was aiming this model from the beginning but then still i avoided buying this model, one of the reason is that i'm worrying bout the battery life... may I know y u eyeing on this model sis? smile.gif

There you go. Your answer.

With regards to where the watch is made from, it depends a lot on the model. Some are predominantly made in China while the others are from Thailand. Most of the higher end ones are from Japan.
*
many thanks biggrin.gif stalked from previous v2 thread, so bro are u still collecting frogman series? brows.gif

QUOTE(jonny4 @ Feb 4 2015, 09:56 PM)

Not as big or chunky as I imagined. My dad works nearby so he went over to check out the price for me. He ended up buying it for me.

A big thank u to all those that were so kind in giving their views. especially ahnee92 and Everdying
*
nice pick bro rclxms.gif rclxms.gif so i guess u could buy another gshock since yr dad bought one for you biggrin.gif biggrin.gif jkjk

p/s: I did feel the same as you before buying a gshock, most of the gshock dimension is 52mm x 55mm, so I presumed that it would be huge but naaa....feel just so right wearing a gshock now drool.gif

i gotta try d red one n see how looks like.

saw the DW5600 when i was browsing. honestly i din like it coz it looks too simple. i prefer rounder Gs n also those words n symbols in n around the bezel n display. kinda old school feel to it.

but i'll keep a lookout for it n let u know d price. dat n also d black king.
*
thx bro hmm.gif hmm.gif i guess i won't be wearing the 5600 for outing too tongue.gif too old, if really buy just for my collection probably...
how i wish seremban could have at least one g-factory, even kuching sarawak also have one... most of the watches shop they are selling just the hot models like ga110 series or those fancy colors model...it's quite hard to seek for those master of g/ limited edition
