G-shocks are build to last.. the possibility you're getting a lemon copy and need to send for warranty are very slim.. i myself bought more than 7(me&mywfie's) from gpeople..None is having issue as i collect+wear all of them alternately based on my outfit of the day colour..  rolleyes.gif

Want to get this.
Gpeople selling at RM599.00.
Outside selling for RM750.00

Since there are many +ve testimonials about Gpeople, I am thinking of getting from them. Hope the testimonials are true... sweat.gif

I bought 2 shocks from gpeople. Prices are unbeatable. Go for it.

Wayne, i like the blue color because of the big space around the number.

From your choices, I am going for G-7900-1DR... beautiful classic... With a nice big red button on the lower right...

Protrek is nice but if durability, still it will be a 'G'... Maybe a Rangeman as it have a triple sensor and more functionality...

these are the multi-purpose ones i have.
G-9400 rangeman, G-9300 mudman, PRW-6000 and PRG-270.

anyway, army guys also use protreks...so obviously they're tough enough...afterall they are made for the outdoors.

budget wise and best outdoor watch, PRG-270 since its the cheapest protrek with v3 sensor.
best workout watch, G-9400 cos got one press instant stopwatch.
best everday watch, without a doubt PRW-6000 tongue.gif

As compared to G... Protrek still lacks of toughness... my old protrek which had the joint between the strap broken... hmm...

there are also reports of rangeman case cracking at the lugs area.
plus none can last forever anyway, eventually resin starts to crack etc.

got la, but the main point is...a protrek is also built for the outdoors...and army also uses them...so they are more than durable enough.
not like anyone is going to run them under a car or anything anyway.
