All watches last for years if not used roughly. G-Shocks especially. Most of the models are tough solar features.
My take on the G-9300 Mudman:-
Pros:
- One of THE MOST comfortable G-Shocks I've worn
- Compass/Thermometer features
- The usual G-Shock features i.e. shock resist, water resist etc
Cons:
- Very hard to press button
- The digits are REALLY hard to read for both the models you selected because of its negative display. More often than not it takes me at least 2-3 seconds to tell the time. Why? Because I have to really angle it towards a light source to see the digits. At least 10 seconds to read the moonphase and the small dial on the top left, even with EL switched on!
So yeah, my suggestion is that if you don't really mind the very hard to press buttons, get one that has a normal display. If not, get another model.
for the 9300 mudman, are u saying the negative display buttons are harder to press than the normal display? My take on the G-9300 Mudman:-

i only have the normal display, and its not really that hard...harder than normal...but still softer than the 9000 mudman.
