It runs very well! Snappy, just like El Capitan on the Mac Pro. And Siri works astonishingly brilliant. I wouldn't have known an age old machine like mine could perform as good on the new macOS. The best thing about it is, all my applications and drivers work without any further downloads. I think it's just a way for Apple to cut of support to the older macs, just because of economical reasons. Personally they still are able to carry the workload. Get yours updated, you wouldn't have the slightest regret I'm sure.

Mostly the last to receive this update is 2008 and onwards. As long as they were able to be updated to El Capitan 10.11.6, they could do Sierra.

I got my Geekbench 3 32-bit tryout score. Not bad for an 8 years old mac.

I was doing this with 6 of my startup applications on, and listening to music. Would score a little higher if I perform it optimally while shutting off the entire processes.

Also, just to add. Some graphics card, which I notice, the Nvidia 7xx series are natively supported by macOS Sierra. Thus, there's no need to use the Nvidia web driver, to drive the graphics card. Like my GT730, which works right off boot (of course, with no Apple EFI).

Yes, the supposedly state of the art AI is now built in into the macOS environment.

LOL whoops. I have one. I might've mentioned it a few pages ago. iBook G4 30GB running Tiger OS X. I loved that heavy thing, it got me through Uni haha. Had to sell it off as it was unused/ Got a good price for it although it was 6 years old at the time of sale.

True. Sadly in our country... legacy is not appreciated, even when the fact is that there are only a few of it left !

Still has rv alright. But i feel like slapping owners who price their ppc in par with intels. For instance: sm1 wants to sell a 15" powerbook for 1.7k, when the initial 17" version of intel only fetches 1.1k
