Just want to ask, has anyone ordered from Robotkingdom? How long does the delivery take? How is the parcel packaging?

Probably Fans Project as I am not interested in the combiners considering that the dinobots arent actually combiners to begin with. I like the polish on the FP one which looks pretty good in the photos as the paint application is quite well done.

I might cancel it at the end as I saw some other interesting transformers to collect where I might go for the others instead.

After reading some IDW comics, I prefer IDW-like designs that most 3rd party does. It still feels like G1 in some ways but modernised a bit.

Still, Maketoys Nemesis feels more like Fall of Cybertron style though.

I am getting a FP because FP's version has better polish with a lot of the nice little detailing, has good articulation, the targetmaster is pretty neat gimmick and as far as I know, FP is a more consistent company in releasing decent products. I like the alt mode too, without all the big guns like another 3rd party. The bling bits are prone to scratches, as someone who had the con version of Columpio had scratches on the chest piece.

No point spending Rm300 for a figurine that doesnt look polished, IMO. TW's version looks too plain to me despite I dont mind the G1 design. Considering that I am not planning to collect all, I am not really interested in combiners as if its designed to be a combiners, the design will compromise the bot mode in some ways. I still like to have some flexibility to buy other transformers from Maketoys and PE.

Still want to get Maketoys Nemesis then PE's Warden and eventually, their Scoponok.

PE's Warden is a must buy eventually but I kinda want to hold off now as I am spending too much on transformers to the point it is far more than the money I spent on diecast model cars. I dont mind if PE Warden is extinct as the recolor, Guardian will be out in October 2014 considering it is very hard to make up my mind on which one to buy. Both looks amazing with various pros and cons such as Warden alt modes, the massive tank and the head look better but Guardian's bot mode and the large cannon looks better. For Scoponok, I have to get the one with G1 color despite im ok with both Warden/Guardian colors. Guardian also looks better with the FP dinobots as a lot of dinobots does have a red chest like Guardian so they might look a bit more cohesive. Still, Warden is designed and colored like IDW's Fort Max so that really adds a lot to the butthurt.



I am intending to skip FP's Swoop though, did not like the 3D models so far but Slag will probably be preordered. The alt mode looked so cute like a chubby, angry triceratops.

I thought Utopia is out by now? Quantron should be shipping these few months if I am not wrong.

If I strike lottery and I want a Dinobot combiner, I'll go with Toyworld as their G1-like designs will look great beside the FP's FOC inspired dinobots despite the polish is not as good as FP.

I do feel like selling my MP3 Starscream now to fund Warden.

If I am not wrong, there are 2 third parties making MP sized dinobots. Their MP sized Slag looks damn good beside MP Grimlock.

I did hear that their not-Shockwave is pretty damn amazing. Sadly no budget d. lol.

I like to collect Transformer because I actually appreciate the engineering behind some of the better made ones that made them tick like my MP Starscream. Also, I like to collect them cause I used to love watching G1 until Beast Wars which I like to own some of the characters. Since I stopped watching transformers now, so I just collect whatever I find it looks nice.

I also collect diecast cars which also have no intrinsic value. It is just a hulk of expensive metal that does nothing at all to the point people call me an idiot for spending RM750 for one. Sure it doesnt do anything but it holds a sentimental value to me as I bought it because I was leaving Australia for a while and I want to keep something that defines Australian motorsports. That car I bought was the winner in a 1000km endurance race which is not an easy feat on the world's steepest and one of the more dangerous tracks in the world. If you lost control on the track, most likely you'll be hitting the concrete wall. Apparently, for that overpriced model car, the price will go up as time goes as it has an official and numbered certificate from the manufacturer as the stock in the market running low while it was driven by a very famous driver.

If I am selling, i'll sell for RM400. Barely played transformer so most of the joints are quite tight.

As long as you are spending the money for the necessacities, i think it should be ok.

Yeah, buying transformers is partly why i want to indulge on some things. Scale model cars are too pricey now while most companies QC is going downhill, might as well start transformers.

God damn it. Now you made me want one.

I dont think all transformers are for age 3 and up. Some transformers have really small parts that might be choking hazard for children.

Not just that, he always give very vague answers unfortunately in whether stock will come or not.

I wanted to get PE Warden from him but at the end, I think I buy from robotkingdom easier.

Then, there isnt much point for me to buy from Famitoy then as I want to focus on third party now. Famitoy carries so little third parties.

If he is not carrying other 3rd party brands, what else he can bring in? Maketoys and FP are probably the most commercialised third party as far as i know with multiple product releases. Other companies mostly have one product a year or so.

I dunno man, but I dont think i'll go there often if all he brings are Hasbro and Takara transformers.

Any other good physical shops that brings in 3rd party? It is difficult to judge a transformer based on pictures to be honest.

I didnt know that my PE's ASX not-Reflector are that tiny.

So he is not bringing in MMC, FP and Maketoys.

I think I can ignore the store from now onwards as if he ignores these 3 major 3rd parties, I doubt i'll ever see a PE, TFC or anything else that is even more niche. I think i'll focus on third party for now as they do have the stuff I want. Hasbro and Takara really have nothing I want to be honest.
