I guess I'll only worry about it when I ACTUALLY FREAKING GET Aethon from Vhobby. I swear it's so frustrating that they can't even tell you how come they still haven't got it yet.

So far for TFC I notice that X2O can be one of the slowest, but at least the website is updated or if they are late they will give you info.. but the people working at Vhobby are so far down the chain-of-command, that sometiems if you want to make preorder also hard, because they have no idea what you are talking about.

I think X2O will definitely bring in.

Actually looking at online retailers everywhere.. like robotkingdom, they are charging Phobus as the same price with the rest of the limbs I guess in Malaysia the increase is from shipping (from BBTS in the US their phobus also same as phlogeus)

While my Aethon and Phobus has yet to arrive.. (Thanks Vhobby!). My Rex is finally complete.











It seems like only yesterday around December last year, I saw Bovis in a toy store.. picked it up.. then looked around for somewhere where they still took preorder for the rest of the line. Thanks X2O! (sincere thanks).

MMC might make you wait long and pay a bit more, but the quality and feel of the plastic justifies it for me. The G1-ish look also really does it for me. THis is what I thought predaking woud look like when I was playing with the G1 versions as a kid.,. (still remember getting it from Parkson when there was a discount.. rm 30 each.. went. from Atria Parkson to Subang Parade Parkson to get them all )

It really depends on who you ask. Different groups of people have different opinion. On TransMy forums for example, a good deal of people favor TFC. Here, I find the majority leaning towardss MMC (myself included). It's best that if you can see them upclose and touch-touch-feel to see how they are.

Honestly,MMC's Bovis is what brought me into the 3rd party world as well as back to collecting transformers. I was so surprised the first time I laid my eyes on it. The packaging was nice, the plastic feels good, nice weight, transformation and details etc. So i got on board and preordered the set.

Now I am a predaking fan, so when I saw TFC's nemean I bought it (partly, Leo Dux was still a way off and I couldn't resist getting a Razorclaw) so I got pulled in to another set. When I first played with Nemean, one thing right off the bat was the feel of the plastic. It was certainly different from Nemean's, I would not say it is better or worse, but it certainly made me feel that I like MMC's plastic more. Look wise, it was ok to me, as many said an updated look to the Predacons. Color wise I did not like the red tips on the shoulder cannons, you might have a different opinion on them though.

So far, with 3 figs in for tfc, I've got to say I like the alt modes of TFC however, I much prefer the bot modes of MMC. I've also combined my TFC ones with other TFC figures such as limbs from proemtheus and Uranos(Don't get this.. much regret to be had) , and I find that the connector on my Nemean feels loose. The ratchet on the limbs are tough.. but the connector'srotation itself, not so much. It could be mine only though, so I'm not sure.


I'll put it this way, and people will disagree with me.. MMC when I got it, it wowed me that 3rd party can be of this level of quality and packaging. TFC is just about right given the price etc.


p/s : TFC fans, this is just my opinion, not a MMC fanboy, I am also collecting Rex, Prometheus and already have Uranos, so this is just purely my opinion . Don't want to get bashed for my opinion like in some other forum lol.

Yeah in a way, despite the fact that the wait was lonnnnnnng for each component to come, I'm glad it did. It seems less painful to get it over a year.

Don't worry I think MMC will not be doing a Bruticus in a long time if ever.. Right now they are aiming for the fembots, follow4d by the Decepticon Justice division.. then maybe an Abominus later.... Given their speed.. maybe 2016 they might get this all off their plates hehe ..

The "no trailer" version is factory stock, which means KO. Takara MP-10 is rumored to be reissue sometime next year, so watch for that I guess

I don't know having seen the sample of Afterburner in 1 Toy, can't say that I'm too impressed with it in terms of how the whole thing feels. It also has the Brawl shoulders and it seems, so does this T_T. That said, already preordered them before I even saw the sample, so hoping for the best.

I have faith in MMC hehe not so much in DX-9 but I could be proven wrong hehe
