Just a correction : Scoria (and future dinobots planned by FansToys and GigaPower) is 3rd Party produced unofficial Masterpiece-scaled items.

Hasbro / TakaraTomy has only one Masterpiece Dinobot release, which is Grimlock.

My Masterpiece MP12 Lambor though not chromed do exhibit signs of paint chips and imperfect paint apps. The other Masterpieces I owned so far is satisfactory.

Hmm all along, i thought the one whom replies on FB is Jerryn Wong (I could be wrong) if so , my opinion of her is that she's the most knowledgeable admin of a toy page with good communication that I've seen.

On the deposit thing, have you guys encountered many toy stores that will allow you to cancel your order after deposit paid? At best, the ones i've encountered has allowed me to take the deposit I paid to topup an existing order or swtich to another. I've cancelled before with X2O but i've always down the latter.

As I understand it, sometimes if they place an order with a supplier, the supplier might not let them cancel also, especially if they (x2o) has already initiated payment themselves.

usually your deposit would be burnt if you decide to cancel, but yes, some stores that focus a bit more on good relations will let you change to a different puchase.. never have i heard of deposit being refunded other than reasons like
A. seller unable to procure sufficient stock and cannot fulfill all orders
B. manufacturer, through some unforeseen circumstance, decide to to not go ahead with production of a figure
and through these extremes have i heard of deposit being refunded, so i think it's best to just accept it, and consider yourself lucky that you perhaps have had your advance payment refunded if you change your mind, because it's not just seller to buyer, the supplier and manufacturer will also not be interested in losing money, hence when an order goes through it's usually a done deal

good haul, how much did you get your Jetfire for?

I have a 2 pack buster prime and jetfire from ROTF era. It originally MISB but i opened it up and ALL my other MISB leader classes just to take out the batteries.

Did i do the right thing? I would rather lose the MISB status than have the batteries corrode the electronics.


Some of the leader class I have in MISB have been with me for 7 years.

Both Jetfire and Prime was RM350 in total. Hehehe

If you are not looking to sell them anytime soon, MISB or BIB or Loose should not mean anything.

that was a blardy good haul.. even my set set me back RM400 and i thought that was cheap nowadays
but i find jetfire to be quite disappointing when combined with prime, so i got the FWI-3 anyway, jetfire is quite accurate as a standalone figure so that's fine with me

Haha. Not gonna combine them, strictly standalone figures Might be tempted to get FWI-3, but running low of storage space to house my collection. I really need to get around buying proper display shelves.

My personal experience with MPs is once they've hit our shores, most of the first shipments will be strictly PO. BUT, the same week the first shipment arrives, a few of those stalls opened on Sunday at AmCorp mall will have the said MP on sale at their booth (with an increase of about RM20-RM50, depending on price of said MP).

Plus some members of Facebook toy groups will start selling their 'extra' units.
