Did you order from apple online store?  The payment is to apple malaysia company or apple singapore company?

If it is apple singpore, still can use it for tax relief?

Educational discount only available for purchase via apple.com website. This is also the best option to customise the RAM, storage, etc.

Both of the features are not available via online/offline purchase through licensed retailer (Machines, Switch, SenQ).

For my case, bought a MBA 2020, upgraded to i5 using my gf's name. No query or e-mail or verification requirement whatsoever, so don't worry just go ahead (many forumers had the same experience). I think no need student ID also.

Just bought iPad Air with them. Nothing asked. Never asked for edu email or anything. Just pay and you are good to go.

Am afraid there’s no alternative, it’s Apple ‘education’, so it’s meant for education alternative would be buying from third party sellers or COD, sometimes they sell it a few hundred bucks cheaper than retail, definitely not now though with the chip shortage and long waiting time

you're welcome.. there is another way that I just thought of, if you can find someone like a friend or relatives who're within the education industry, can get them to do you a favour and help with the UniDAYS verification (purchase for you)

apple monitoring lolyat lah, everyone keep on big mouthing about buying apple product with education price without being from education field and encourage people to abuse it together

Treat them for yamcha and ask them to login for you. 

I’m sure not only members here buy from education store, must be a big number of purchases vs their normal store that’s why triggered them to immediately put a stop to this

You can just get apple care from normal store or aasp right? Why need to verify?
