it should be Canon 350D successor....
replacement just sound weird...

dust cleaner! so only nikon doesnt have one...the auto focus also looks good. of course the best is d price..

but will it end up more expensive in malaysia?

Crap... and i got the 350d around a month ago...

It may have enhanced features or facility but I think the feel and build quality will not be entirely improved and like holding an upgraded "350D MkII"

is it full frame? Or maybe not......

Looks interesting. Maybe they might launch this 400D together with the EOS 3D. Or has that already been released?

i think if this comes with the live preview function then it wil be the BEST

the stiffer the competition...the better it is for us consumers....no wonder Canon throwing the 350D with free 2nd lens now

350D to cost USD100 less once the 400D comes to market...
wonder if can get the discount from the shops right now,.... ;}

Seems like the 400D is just a nominal revision of the 350D.
Nothing really major here. Nothing to make people run out to the store and buy one. Not revolutionary enough to sway people from the Sony Alpha A100 or the D80, IMHO.

All this competition though, is very good for us consumers!
