want to buy tempered glass sp for my mi3..do IIOZO sp as good as nilkin..and the oleophobic coating easy to wear of after period of time..??..if good i want to buy one too..
*
The oleophobic coating will worn off after some time for sure. I have tried brand name one (over a hundred ringgits) on iphone before. It was good initially, but the coating is gone after a month or so, I am heavy phone user though.

Hmm... How should I said it?

It's not like I did not expect the hype thing. I just never imagine it would be so bad. I haven't bought any headphone in the last few years. I had no idea what and how a RM 200-300 headphone sounds today.

What I had for comparison was a RM15 Altec Lansing UHP336 iem I bought from a warehouse sale and a RM120 Mylar 1B that I bought  5 years ago. It didn't beat either one. So I was wondering what kind of junk you bought for RM200-300 nowadays that the Piston2 beat. It didn't beat the Philips HP890 that I bought for RM120 as well (sold it to a cousin)
*
I suggest you try it on other mi3 and see, just to verify if your mi3 got issue. Also, if your friends have the xm piston earphones, try to compare them. Personally, i think xm earphones are not bad, but just don't expect too much. I have RM700 headphones, which sounds way better, but audio quality can be subjective.

Thanks for the info.

Many recommend approximately 100 hours for most headphones. Some recommend as many as 200 hours or more.
Wow.... mine is less than 50 hours I think. I think I can just let it play while I sleep at night.

Ok i got a wierd MI Powerbank question.

I remembering seeing somewhere (cannot remember) that you can charge the powerbank and also power up your phone. Any danger in this like overheating?

Also i got this crazy idea of using one powerbank to charge up another powerbank.

Basically daisy chain the power bank. First unit gets power from adapter then plug the output of the first unit to the input of the second unit.

I tried it and seems to work but worry if got any damage long term charging in this way.
*
You said it yourself, 'crazy idea'. Better don't do this. In theory, the 1st PB will heat up and take a long time to fully charged since it has to charge up the 2nd PB. I think there is no harm on the 2nd PB though.

i already reboot my phone but it still happen.

thanks....

1. Try to plug in the mikey without press on the button.
2. Select Mikey IF prompted by the phone to select mikey or earphones.
3. Run Mikey app. Then click the Mikey button see if the click counter works.

I guessed the drop angle helps.

Lucky!!! Looks like your phone back side hit the floor first instead of the front side. Otherwise, RM370 for the screen sweat.gif

eh, can set mi-key as camera button for taking picture instead of shortcut?
*
I don't think so. However, I don't think it is a good idea. You need to apply force to press the button, which will move your phone slightly and causing blur image.

solution ?  hmm.gif

Space management smile.gif

Delete the old games/apps that you never used.
Delete duplicate photos, we tend to take multiple photos for one thing, then pick the best and delete the rest.
Back up your photo/video to cloud storage such as dropbox/MiCould/OneDrive/Google Drive, etc. then delete those photo/video that you don't need to view.
Clear your downloaded files.
Delete those songs that you don't want to listen to or you never really listen to.

go self collect?
*
I think that is why FedEx trying to do in order to save cost.

My initial mi.com purchases get delivered to my home once the package reached Penang. Very fast.

However, since around Raya time, they started to HOLD the package at their facility, they changed my original scheduled delivery date to 2 weeks later. They just hold the package there. I called them, they said Xiaomi allowed them for this time frame delivery (the 2 weeks delay). Of course I can't wait for 2 weeks so I went to their facility to self collect, so many people were there to pick up their xiaomi packages.

Don't think it is FedEx fault. I believe Xiaomi wants lower shipping cost (since they are giving us free shipping), they negotiated with FedEx for slower delivery with lower shipping cost.

1) planning to get mi3 but not in hurry to get one. shud i wait till mi4 release first and hope mi3 price will drop?

2) ayam so noob in android. currently still using my old bb. so i dont know shit bout this root stuff etc etc bla bla all the stuff dat u guise tok bout. so izzit ok if i just stick to the default MIUI 4.3? i just gonna use for whatsap, fb, maps, IG and twitter oni.

1. If I were you, I will wait for Mi4 since you are not in a hurry to replace your phone. Maybe there is about RM300 different between Mi4 and Mi3 based on China pricing.

2. You don't need to root it. Just use the stable MIUI ROM. The system will prompt you to upgrade from time to time even in stable rom.

I agree on this  thumbup.gif

By the time Mi4 officially launches in Malaysia, MIUI V6 should be a bit polished (if they learned from MIUI V5 Maxis hoohaa that is  sweat.gif )

Saw a guy bough Mi4 at SatuGadget few days back, jealous sey  vmad.gif

I never seen a real Mi4 before. I can't seem to locate any in Penang area. Anyone know which shop in Penang have Mi4?

How to detect fake mikey? Which left is suntzulee talking about? The taller or shorter one?

Compare to mine, I can tell the short one is the original since mikey button have a step down.
