i hv been telling ppl...
unused ram is waste ram... is bullshit
u need tons of rams to speed up ur phone
include graphic processing! coz they share rams
it's not really bullshit, but ROMs like MIUI or TouchWIZ, they make it their own apps (or bloatwares) to be priority in RAM management.
So like Mi3, 2GB of RAM usually 300-500MB are allocated for them, even if you "clear" them off, it will still fill be running at the background.
More RAM just means we can put more apps to sleep, so it'll be faster to wake it up rather than start from scratch.
But in order to speed up the phone, besides better processor, the type of RAM & speed also plays a role

I am asking again. It's weekend and I don't think I can call their office. Someone please give me some clear instructions. Those I received yesterday are not clear and incomplete.
I need to transfer some of my photos taken with my Mi:3 to a seperate folder for easier searching. Right now, under my gallery "local images", I have "screenshots" and "camera photos". I wish to create some more folders.
As instructed, I can create new folder and a name given via "Explorer". I done that.
Problem is I fail to transfer photos although I have selected them from my thumbnails via DCIM from Explorer. How do I go from there ?
I clicked "Camera" and after I selected the photos by ticking them, I can do the followings:
copy, cut, delete or "more" as seen at the bottom.
If I choose and click on "copy", "paste" and "cancel" appear at the bottom. What do I do next ? If I click "paste", it says Touch to start FTP Server, what is this ?
If I choose "more" and then "send", it goes to all those Apps.
There is no where for me to transfer to another folder under other phones.
So don't say someone have already taught me, it doesn't with my Mi:3.
Can someone please instruct again ?
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.

Chill man..
What I do is simple:
1. Get "Astro File Manager" app from Playstore
2. Find the pictures you want to move. Example: Pictures from whatsapp should be ni Phone>Storage>sdcard0>whatsapp>media>whatsapp images
3. long click the picture(s)
4. Go to settings or 3 dots at the top right > select "move"
5. Browse back to whichever folder you want to move it to in the phone
6. Select "paste" box at the bottom screen
7. Done. When you open Gallery > Local again, should see the pictures in the folder.

ah, saw
IwanAGP already posted very detailed instructions already
