just curious question, any did drop test for mi3 before?

i was playing my sister's Samsung note8, her note screen lit up automatically when case cover opens and turn off when case cover close. is there a way to set mi3 to work that way?

stick to v14 stable and wait for miui6, if you don't mind the +60 missing bug, by all means update to v23, its a good stable rom other than at weird bug.
by the way, mine is fine running v23. i just edit all my contacts with +60. no problem ^^

i cant use proximity sensor coz when it is turn on, my screen turn off when making calls. then I cant cancel call and see anything on screen. the screen wont turn on back until call cancel.

ok, for confirmation, how many proximity sensors in mi3 and locations. 1)top right MI logo, 2) left of the speaker <-- ( where is that? isn't that the usb charge port? LOL)

ok, stupid question, how to turn off lockscreen. the only option I see is automatically lock which leads to timer. power button lock on/off, screen lock (slide). I want to disable it completely.

weird, my skip sweep screen is darken.

I cant. the whole bar is greyed out, including the little button on right.

nvm, I've solved it. appears I need activate the pattern lock first to enable skip screen lock..thanks bro

yea, although the slide screen can be turn off but it is replaced by the pattern lock which is worst. I don't want it. I want directly to main screen after returned from sleep. it appears that miui5 (maybe miui6 too) cant do that. however, I've found out there are apps can permanently disable these functions like
- screenwakeup
- auto screen on off (smart cover)
- many others
