QUOTE(rykarin @ Sep 21 2014, 05:45 PM) may i know this problem happened after u do update via ota? stick to v14 stable and wait for miui6, if you don't mind the +60 missing bug, by all means update to v23, its a good stable rom other than at weird bug.curious because mine just bought few days ago and still not update yet.. by the way, mine is fine running v23. i just edit all my contacts with +60. no problem ^^ |

QUOTE(jokeserv @ Sep 21 2014, 07:35 PM) I'm using gravity screen app. Uses gravity sensor and proximity sensor. Developer mentioned only eat up about 5% of your battery. I think it is worth it i cant use proximity sensor coz when it is turn on, my screen turn off when making calls. then I cant cancel call and see anything on screen. the screen wont turn on back until call cancel. |

QUOTE(kadajawi @ Sep 21 2014, 11:53 PM) Your screen protector needs to have a cut out for the proximity sensor, which is to the left of the speaker, and to the top right of the MI logo. ok, for confirmation, how many proximity sensors in mi3 and locations. 1)top right MI logo, 2) left of the speaker <-- ( where is that? isn't that the usb charge port? LOL) |

QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ Sep 22 2014, 12:23 AM) It should be like that coz its not normal to have screen on during on call. ok, stupid question, how to turn off lockscreen. the only option I see is automatically lock which leads to timer. power button lock on/off, screen lock (slide). I want to disable it completely.Do u use lock screen? if yes, just unlock it should get back screen. |

QUOTE(WaCKy-Angel @ Sep 22 2014, 04:12 PM) yea, although the slide screen can be turn off but it is replaced by the pattern lock which is worst. I don't want it. I want directly to main screen after returned from sleep. it appears that miui5 (maybe miui6 too) cant do that. - screenwakeup - auto screen on off (smart cover) - many others |

QUOTE(shah_ty @ Sep 26 2014, 12:05 PM) i've drop my mi3 countless time (more than waist height) while charging on a cabinet and while using. Plus, got thrown, drop and smash a few times by my 4 year old son never let kids play your gadgets. kids should stick to their plastics rubber toys. that's it. you may call me old fashion but that's the truth. The damage: -small dents at 2 corners -scratch screen protector -damage MiKey my parents always said to me when I wanted toys. "buy your own when you can earned your own money." so basically I don't have my own toys during my childhood, except my uncles childhood toys. yea, they gave it to me XD. looks cool though. Anyhow I'm a TV kid, spent most of my time in front of TV so I'm fine. |
