you called alonso a rookie when he won 2 wdc (05/06)? he has been racing since 2001 how come you call him a rookie...btw agree with u,stupid massuck...for the second corner alonso already half afront of him,how the hell he said he got the inside line???first corner yes but for second corner alonso got the inside line

Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa clashed in their views of the first-corner collision that sent the world champion through the gravel and out of contention for a victory in his home grand prix.

The rivals banged wheels at turn one as the Spaniard tried to go around the outside of the Ferrari driver, but it was Massa who was able to hold the lead as Alonso was pitched off the circuit.

The McLaren driver's MP4-22 sustained minor aerodynamic damage from the clash and although keen to not criticise Massa directly, believed that the Ferrari driver tried a "very risky" manoeuvre.

"I think what I mean is that in this type of incident 99 per cent of the time both cars will finish in the first corner as we saw in GP2," Alonso said in the post-race press conference.

"I think when you are fighting for the championship it is very risky to be as aggressive as this in the first corner, sometimes, and I only mean that.

"We were lucky today that both cars finished, one first and one third, and thanks to that the incident will become a little less important.

And when asked to further clarify his comments, he said: "I think what I mean is that it was a very risky point in the race and I nearly finished my race in the first corner, unfortunately, when I felt that I went into the corner a little in front of the other car.

"If you look at my car, at my side-pod and the rear side of the car, it is completely touched. I think that shows everybody who arrived first into the corner. I was more than half a car in front."

However race-winner Massa defended his driving in the first corner, insisting that he was well within his rights to hold the inside line.

"Both of us," he said when asked which driver took more risk in the first corner.

"But usually I was inside, so I had the car inside, so I don't understand his point.

"It was just a normal race accident and as long as I am inside, close to the car going to the first corner, I will keep there. I will not move.

"So, if somebody was aggressive, it was Fernando, it was not me."

well, he is a rookie who won 2 championship. anyway, the race in spain is a bit dissapointed, when that stupid Massa dangerous driving in the first corner. if alonso think childishly and didn let any way for massa to overtake,  there will be a terrible accident happened.    this kind of attitude (massa) will only see the same fate as montoya (danger driving).

there is never a first or second driver in McLaren

to spot whos the 1st or 2nd driver, i notice the upper wing located top of the car whether its painted in red color or yellow color (this season), coz last few seasons they were either painted in red or black... those with red upper winglet are 1st driver (last season), like schumi of ferrari, raikkonen of mclaren, fernando of renault... while black colored (last season) are second driver such as montoya of mclaren, fisichella of renault, or massa of ferrari...

for this season, the red upper winglet remains to be 1st driver but strangely, they change from black to yellow upper winglet for the 2nd driver...
