before this, ilmor engineering is responsible for mercedes engine right? so all the reliable problem maybe is from ilmor which now out for motogp... so next season mercedes gonna built engine for mclaren by them selve... wonder how good and how reliable it will be biggrin.gif.... newey already out to redbull and tombazis already back to ferrari whistling.gif ... so everything is new for mclaren... all the best for mclaren and alonso next season icon_rolleyes.gif

opsss! forgot about the engine freeze

I think reliability wise, this car is good, looking at the miles done in testing. If they can get the car to work with the tyre even better, then I think we have a chance to beat the Ferraris

yaa... its all about the tyres, mclaren lack of long distance pace

between top 4 driver rite now...

- alonso have to learn how to drive a mp4-22, hamilton had a chance to get use to it long before alonso...credit to hamilton

- alonso had to forget how to use michelin (which is very hard if u win 2 wdc with it) and learn about bridgestone all over again, meanwhile hamilton just have to learn about bridgestone only

- massa, he got the most credit here...just learn how to be quick and steady

- raikonen, same as alonso but lucky for him, ferrari had use bridgeston for decade, much easier task for him

stupid masSUCK...very childish...if alonso continuing to keep his line, sure both will out of the race...IMHO, matured decision from alonso, thinking about whole championship not only for that race...if both alonso n massuck out then kimi electronik prob...hamilton sure had a chance to build a gap in WDC

After reading the full press conference I have to say I was abit peeved with the media constantly trying to milk Fernando to say something controversial. I mean the headlines have all been suggesting that Fernando was "whining" but after reading the whole thing in its entirety i can honestly say that Fernando is  class smile.gif He didn't say a thing wrong imo.

totally agree... if things always be like this, better for alonso to answer all the press question with... "no comment"

Did you notice that after the departure of Adrian Newey, things seem to be better? Now, the overheating engine problem has gone..... to another team.
*
engine heating nothing to do with newey... engine is under mario illien,he now in motogp...mclaren lost 3 engineer
newey - chasis (now in rbr)
illien - engine (own ilmor motogp team)
tombazis - aerodynamic (back to ferrari)

kimi`s engine has overheating at MonteCarlo`06 during safety car bcos he cant control his engine rev properly

mclaren also has a lot of engine problem in 2005,i think kimi has 3 penalties(drop ten grid)at Monza,Silverstone and Magny Cours bcos of Mercedes engine
*
that's kimi fault, why montoya doesn't had that problem??? engine problem doesn't mean cause by overheating bro...crack,leaking and hydraulic failure are the main reason

it gonna be hard for ferrari to keep up with mclaren now...last year ferrari has to beat renault, the team with low budget in their pocket, mass damper issue n unconsistent fishico...this year with mclaren, its gonna be damn hard with no more reliability issue n they also got the best drive right now

Dude, the right-side part of your sig really makes me LOL laugh.gif Btw, I think its quite likely that the  McLaren will be charged. Hey, how many times when Ferrari whine about a rival, and that rival get to go away? laugh.gif
