My son is still using his S3 n already 3 years with it
He is very happy with it
He is a non techie n doesn't even bother to update the firmware
Besides call, SMS he uses it for whatsapp, some Facebook, browsing n YouTube - very simple casual user. He will only change the phone when it breaks down!!

For your info, S4 rolled out with Jelly Bean at first then only Kitkat and then now lollipop.

Also do learn to detect sacarsm.

Guys, I have been having WiFi issue with my s4 after updating it to Lollipop. It literally doesn't remember the password. I thought that rooting and reflashing it to a custom ROM will work but it doesn't. Wifi still doesn't rememer, need to type the password it everytime I need to use the WiFi.

Any idea what's wrong?

Weird problem. Have you tried factory reset when official lollipop?
Are you running any wifi manager app? If yes try uninstalling it.
Occurs at all wifi access point? If only at home, try changing wifi channel in router.

i factory reset my lollipop but never encounter wifi issue but connecting to wifi is slower than kitkat..

Try perform a hard reset and clean restore.
