Hi Guys, couldn't resist it already and finally got the Galaxy S4 Black Edition which is supposed to be limited to replace my S4 Mini. Love the all black colour and trims as well as the wallpapers and the Leather back cover. However, I do have one dissapointment. Being the latest and last edition to the S4 family, the Black Edition actually came in I9500 which comes with Exynos 5 Octa 5410 CPU. My only qualms is that it only supports 3G and no LTE. What an utter dissapointment for me. I chose to buy an SME set because of warranty reasons and now I feel cheated as I should have got the LTE version which is supposed to be the I9505. Heard AP sets are all I9505. Anyway, my mistake for not checking properly when I bought it.

LTE version was selling by Samsung but was ceased. I am using white LTE your own fault should not said cheated

Hi, can anyone tell me about the recommended charging practice for this phone?
I'm gonna get this phone today as company phone.

I know for my iPhone they recommend to fully discharge and recharge once a month, my Galaxy S+ need to recalibrate the battery counter chip every year like that. Just want to know about this S4.

I used until > 15% then start to charge..This is Li-ion battery and by right no need to use until 0.. if you feel something not right what you need to do is used until 0 then charge full again...

Im not sure wether you guys do realize this or not, but i came from NC1(Malaysian) firmware, flash to NE7(Malaysian) yesterday through Odin. I noticed that samsung have re-enabled the Charging-While-Off function where it was removed before since the early entry of 4.4.2 firmware. Its a good news tho

4.4.3 is slowling trickling out for the S5. IMO it will be at least another month till the S4 receives the update.

If not mistaken S4 will be updated to 4.4.4
